Never approach or talk with strangers… that’s what our parents teach us at a young age and for good reason. In the upcoming psychological thriller MA, we see exactly why. Looking to score beer and have some fun, a group of underage-teens ask a random woman, aka MA, for the favor, who complies and even invites them back to her house for a party. But MA, played by Octavia Spencer, doesn’t turn out to who she seems after the teens break the rules of the house. The Tate Taylor-directed film is set to hit theaters May 31.

Issa Rae, Regina Hall and Black-Ish‘s Marsai Martin join forces in the upcoming comedy Little (out April 12). Taking cues from classic body-swap flicks like Big, Freaky Friday and 17 Again, Little stars Hall as a hard-nosed tech mogul who wakes up one day to find herself trapped in her 13-year-old body (played by Martin). Issa Rae plays Hall’s long-suffering assistant who’s forced to be both a babysitter and boss until they can figure out how to reverse the de-aging process.

Even more impressive about 14-year-old Marsai Martin’s show-stealing performance is the fact that she also came up with the concept for the film after being inspired by the 1988 Tom Hanks film Big (she’s credited as a co-developer and co-executive producer).

As promised, Marvel Studios premiered a new trailer for their upcoming film Captain Marvel during this week’s Monday Night Football game. A teaser trailer was released back in September, but now we finally have an idea of the film’s plot.

Taking place in 1995 — two decades prior to the MCU’s present state, post Avengers 3: Infinity War — Captain Marvel (played by Brie Larson) is found piecing together her past on Earth with the help of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). It’s been reported that the female hero has a huge role in taking down Thanos, so I’m sure we can also expect it to end with leads into Marvel’s next movie, Avengers 4.

Slice, the feature-length debut from director Austin Vesely, has been in the works for a minute now — but today we’ve finally got the first trailer. The A24-produced horror comedy stars Vesely’s good friend and long-time collaborator Chance The Rapper, as well as Atlanta‘s Zazie Beetz, The League‘s Paul Scheer, Stranger Things‘ Joe Keery, Fear the Walking Dead‘s Rae Gray and Hannibal Buress.

According to IndieWire, “Slice takes place in a small town where a handful of pizza delivery boys have been murdered on the job. Two delivery boys who have survived team up on a mission to catch the murderer behind the mysterious crime spree.” Oh, and somehow a werewolf and a pizza place built on a gateway to Hell are also involved. No word on a release date just yet.
