Trey Songz’ artist MIKExANGEL serves as the only guest appearance on Trappy New Years.

Chris Brown is planning to deliver his new studio album Heartbreak On A Full Moon in the new year. The R&B singer just recently put out his latest single “Party” with Usher and Gucci Mane earlier this month. Just hours before 2017 arrives, Breezy decides to end 2016 off with a bang, giving music lovers a track for the clubs in “Dat Night.”

A song Brown describes as something he “Did this for the fans,” the record features Trey Songz and Young Thug as Brown and Trigga focus more on rapping versus singing.

Harry Fraud recapped a busy 2016 by releasing the compilation mixtape, Rogues Vol. 2. The project features appearances by Diddy, Taylor Gang, A$AP Mob, Curren$y, Freddie Gibbs, Juvenile, plus three unreleased exclusives by Action Bronson, G Herbo and French Montana.

On French Montana’s contribution “Empire,” the Bronx rapper throws on the auto-tune and gets into reflection mode over the mellow production of Fraud.

Producer Harry Fraud released a new project on New Year’s Eve titled Rogues Vol. 2. The 20-track mixtape is a compilation of records in 2016 that Fraud contributed to. It also includes a few new exclusives by French Montana, G Herbo and a record by Action Bronson called “Dealer Plates.” Bronson, who is working on his forthcoming Blue Chips 7000 LP and riding off the success of F*ck That’s Delicious is in classic form on the previously unreleased gem.

The key for Rockie Fresh in 2016 was consistency. While Rockie didn’t make a big splash or impact on the charts, the Chicago native consistently deliver solid records, music videos and four projects this year. The MMG artist ends a busy year off my liberatiing the APJ Films-directed visual “December Rain.” In support of The Night I Went To… mixtape, Rockie gives viewers a mellow, laid-back clip where he reflects on life and various moments he’s witnessed and encountered.

Recently, news broke that Lil Uzi Vert signed to Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang Records. Following the announcement by Khalifa last week, DJ Drama and Don Cannon cleared up any rumors by revealing Uzi is not signed to Wiz and remains with their Generation Now label via Atlantic Records.

Moving forward, the Philadelphia rapper ends the year off strong by releasing a video for the Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World standout “Ps & Qs.” Directed by Yashxana, the four-minute visual takes place in a high school, filled with various influences of Japanese culture including Anime.

Back in September, Kanye West announced that Tyga (and Migos) was the newest addition to G.O.O.D. Music. Shortly after, the L.A. rapper put out a single called “Gucci Snakes” featuring his new labelmate Desiigner. While T-Raww continues to be in the headlines daily due to his relationship with Kylie Jenner, not much music has been heard of since.

On New Year’s Eve, Tyga drops off a brand new single featuring Kanye West called “Feel Me.” Set to hit iTunes at midnight, listen below.

Kamaiyah invites viewers to her party in the music video “Freaky Freaks.” After giving us visuals for “F**k It Up” with YG, “Mo Money Mo Problems” and “I’m On,” the Oakland native gets into the New Year’s Eve festivities by throwing a pajama party.

Directed by RedWall Studios, Kamaiyah pops champagne and hosts a dance-filled jam as the Hyphy Hoochies also make a cameo during a quick interlude in the video. “Freaky Freaks” is in support of Kamaiyah’s well-praised A Good Night In The Ghetto project out now.
