So I’m happy to hear that Nivea finally delivered her and Lil Wayne’s baby, a boy named Neal. Young Money artist Mack Maine announced the arrival via twitter…
And I thought now would be a good time to map out Wayne’s ever-growing family tree…The new addition Baby Neal has 2 half-brothers and 1 half-sister on his dad’s side. And 3 more siblings on his mom’s side. The breakdown goes like this:
Baby Neal also has another older brother, Baby Dwayne Michael Carter III. Baby Dwayne is about 14 months old and was born last year to Weezy’s onetime galpal, Sarah. Sarah was, at one point, a nail technician in Ohio, but has since moved to Atlanta and is a regular on the social scene now. (UPDATE: one of the readers says Sarah also had a daughter before Baby Dwayne. Has she talked about her daughter on twitter? If that’s the case then Neal has 7 half-siblings)
Sarah’s son Baby Dwayne made his public debut over the weekend with his dad, at his half-sister Reginae’s 11th birthday party (above, and Necole Bitchie‘s for more pics). Reginae’s mom is Toya (of BET’s Tiny and Toya fame). Toya and Sarah are pals and were seen partying at Toya’s recent birthday party (below, photo by PrinceWilliams)
More of Lil Wayne’s “Modern Family” after the jump….
I took a few days offline to give thanks for all my blessings (health, minimal but adequate wealth, friends, family, team, and of course, you guys, my web family : )…I made the horrible mistake of going to Woodbury Commons for midnight madness (never again, it took 2 hours to get off the highway)….
But now, we’re back at it, with a vengence! And celebrating monday with some new music that I’ve been waiting for! Gucci x Cam’ron x Weezy?!?! Yay!
From Gucci’s The State vs. Radric Davis album, dropping next Tuesday (Decemburr 8th)
(Note: ok, I know that the song gets cut off on this ReverbNation widget. I can’t figure out why. But I figure if you like it, then you can just download it. The reason why I couldn’t just use my regular streaming app is that it keeps telling me I’m over the limit : ( So…I guess that means I need to upgrade to yet another larger server. That’s a great problem to have because that means you guys are supporting. So again, thank u : )
Mikey: Womens Wear Daily got a chance to talk with Shawn Carter on the upstarts of Rocawear, it’s growth, and the future of the brand. Many may think Hov isn’t as involved with the company as he once was, however the mogul still has big aspirations for Rocawear.
“Dame did a great job when he was here,” Carter said. “I just feel that I have a different way of running things, which I think is working out well. I let people make mistakes, and push them to be creative. I let a design team design. When they feel good about something they have created, it makes them want to do more. It makes them want to do their best. People are happy here. I’m not a controlling manager and I have a great team that makes me confident that things can run well when I’m on the road, and I’m proud of that.”
“So, in April 2007, he agreed to partner with Iconix Brand Group, which acquired the Rocawear brand for $204 million in cash. In the deal, Neil Cole, Iconix’s ceo, became Carter’s partner and in turn, Carter was going to help Cole with future Iconix deals.”
“I got to know Neil, and we now have the same mission: Our goal is to make Rocawear a $1 billion company,” he said. “It may take us more time than we would like since the economy is in the shape that it’s in, but I’m confident that we will get there.”
One of his biggest mistakes? “We really should have done some Rihanna Rocawear umbrellas when that song became a hit. We could have made a load of money on those. I’m still kicking myself.”
Mikey: It’s great to see Shyne speaking and using his experiences to try and help young men who are facing the same trials and tribulations that he endured. In his native country of Belize, Shyne Poe shares his story with inmates and gives them the honest truth about what many may classify as “gangster”, but as Shyne says is really taking “responsibilty for your actions.”
Mikey: Check out what down this holiday weekend before it’s back to work tomorrow morning. Rihanna sings “Russian Roulette” on the UK’s X-Factor, Lady Gaga x Kid Cudi in Montreal, Chris Brown’s interview w/ Whoo Kid, and more after the jump.
Mikey: Ride along with the real originators of this Polo ish, sorry Kanye. The homie Gasface catches up with Thirstin Howl The 3rd & Sadat X, and takes a trip through those Brooklyn streets.
“He’s the reason why Rae rhymes “My life got no better, same damn ‘Lo sweater” on C.R.E.A.M… and he’s Ralph lauren’s nightmare .”
before I start making my rounds, here’s a couple loose ends to listen/watch while you’re digesting : ) Above is the Buckshot x KRS-One video for “Survival Skills.”
New Music: Method Man x Raekwon “Mef vs. Chef Part 2” (off the delayed Wu-Massacre album) (thanks to 57thAve, this song still has DJ tags, but I’ll replace with CDQ when available)

Lupe dropped this new mixtape at midnight, but he decided to make an artistic stance and post it as all one long mp3. He called it “cassette style,” I call it, unwieldy. Luckily, Illionaire and Shake chopped it up into tracks so we can listen to it as we please, and in whatever entirety or partiality that we please, lol.
PS: Shake mentioned that there’s another mixtape due on Christmas.
