As promised, Taylor Bennett drops his new project The American Reject. The eight-track EP includes the single “Streaming Services” released earlier this year. The Chicago native taps his brother Chance the Rapper, who appears on the song “No One Outside.” Other guest features include Ty Dolla $ign, Mr. Hudson, Bianca Shaw, and more.

I realized to myself that what I want to do with my music is to bring people together, and I think the best way to bring people together sometimes is to even out the playing field,” Taylor tells Lyrical Lemonade, speaking on the concept of the EP. “I think that very often we try to use things like skin color, money, materialistic assets and others like that to say that we are better than other people, but I think that even people who have money buy these things because they feel and want to be accepted by a different class or different people.”

Late last year, Cardi B previewed an unreleased record called “Press” that was rumored to appear on an upcoming deluxe edition of her Invasion of Privacy debut album. While the album re-release is now an after thought, Cardi is now ready to unleash the track. Taking to Instagram on Monday (May 27), the Bronx star announced “Press” this Friday (May 31). Skepta is gearing up to release his new album Ignorance Is Bliss this Friday (May 31). In preparation, the London MC dropped the dual singles “Bullet from a Gun” and “Greaze Mode” earlier this month. The face of BBK returns with an official music video for “Bullet from a Gun.” Posted in London Underground’s Camden Town station, Skeppy and his baby buggy wait on a train platform as various scenarios play out next to them.

Jacquees is set to drop his sophomore album entitled Round 2 this summer. The follow-up to the Atlanta crooner’s 4275 debut arrives this June via Cash Money Records. The R&B star started the campaign off earlier this week with the song and music video “Live Ya Life.” ‘Quees returns with a second record and accompanying visual this week, “Who’s.” Co-starring Dreezy, Jacquees plays a young postman who falls for his pretty co-star. After spotting Dreezy experiencing issues with her boyfriend, Jacquees steps in to take control.

Steve Lacy is best known as the guitarist/bassist of The Internet and for his work with the likes of Solange Knowles, J. Cole and Vampire Weekend. Lacy steps out from the shadows into the spotlight with his solo debut album, Apollo XXI. The 12-track LP is a fusion of funk and R&B, lead by the song “N Side.” Records like “Basement Jack,” “Hate CD” and “Amandla’s Interlude” also make the final cut.
