Joell Ortiz is building quite the long resume of lyrical destruction during radio station visits. Recently, the Brooklyn MC stopped by Sway in the Morning to promote his “House Slippers” single and Slaughterhouse’s Fuse TV show Total Slaughter. Before leaving, Ortiz had to get on the mic and get some rhymes off his chest over Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s “Deep Cover.”

Remember that “big announcement” DJ Khaled told us about over the weekend? Well, the We The Best boss has kept good on his promise and shared some big news that the streets — and ideally Forbes — are about to be eating up. Following in the footsteps of fellow moguls Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, Khaled is launching his very own signature line of headphones with Heads Audio and Bang & Olufsen. And of course, he promises nothing but premium quality, calling them “We The Best Sound.”

Naturally, Khaled’s Instagram is already chock full of promo images, but you can read an official statement on his latest business venture below.

Instead of Ma$e wining and dining, his beautiful co-star takes control as the two end up at a pool party.

Directed by Juwan Lee, “Nothing” is the lead offering off Ma$e’s Now We Even album coming in October. His fourth solo LP and first since 2004’s Welcome Back features appearances from Kanye West, Rick Ross, The Diplomats, and more.

August Alsina was a busy man last night. Shortly after scooping the Best New Artist award, as well as squashing his R&Beef with Trey Songz at the 2014 BET Awards, the N’awlins crooner let loose the video for one of Testimony standouts, “Benediction.” The Def Jam rookie soaks up the tropic weather while giving due praise to the most high alongside his much-slimmer guest Rick Ross, who’s clearly been worshipping “RossFit” lately, too.
