chance the rapper.jpg

It’s been exactly one year since Chance The Rapper dropped AcidRap on the world, and catapulted from local Chicago rapper to the new face of indie rap. Considering his debut mixtape, #10Day, also arrived in April, there’s been plenty of talk about Chano possibly dropping a new project this month. But as May creeps in, the SaveMoney MC gives us the next best thing: a new track with his Social Experiment band. While it’s not quite the real thing, Ariana Grande has debuted the lyric video to her much talked about collabo with Iggy Azalea. She just debuted the track on Saturday at this year’s Radio Disney Music Awards and the song has taken off worldwide.

“I fell in love with Iggy when I saw this video of her performing ‘Work’ live, and I just thought she was so original and I loved the way she pronounced her words,” Grande tells Rolling Stone. “I thought we would make the perfect girl-power duo for ‘Problem’, so I’m very grateful that she did it with me. I love meeting people I admire and discovering that they’re really chill human beings and nothing’s gone to their head.”

The record was produced by Max Martin and is topping iTunes charts in over 30 countries.

Whether it’s part of his album promo or just out of good will, some of the biggest names in sport are rallying behind Lil Wayne’s upcoming Tha Carter V. King Push touched on everything from his dream collaborations and why Pharrell is the best, to his thoughts on gay rappers and the NFL’s decision to ban the N-Word. He also defends Kanye West’s habitual rants and lets us know what’s good with the Clipse (but you already know the answer to that).
