This is the most excited I’ve been about a new song in a really really long time. More excited than I was before Kanye’s Yeezy Season 3 and The Life Of Pablo unveiling. More excited than I was for What a Time To Be Alive to finish downloading. More excited than I was waiting for Kendrick’s Grammy set to start (although, in the end, that set blew me away). I just feel like I’ve been waiting (and more importantly, waiting in the dark) for proof of life from Jai Paul for so long.

MissInfo: People are usually shocked when I tell them that I’m actually kind of shy in real life…but it’s true. Pulling out stories from others is a breeze, but talking about myself is pure struggle. That said, I loved opening up my humble abode to our friends from the FADER and Sonos for their incredible “At Home With” series because I know that there are so many folks out there just like me, cramming family, friends, work, and of course, music into their day.
Watch as I drag MissInfo.TV‘s Mikey Fresh to the farmer’s market, have a brainstorming meeting about our upcoming site redesign (it’s finally coming!), eat bagels and lox with my girls, and listen to some tunes with my 3-month old baby boy, Max. Most importantly…I get to share some thoughts about being a working mom isn’t a sacrifice, it’s a bonus!

HBO’s ‘Last Week Tonight’, starring ‘Daily Show’-alum John Oliver has quickly become my favorite way of learning about what I should be mad about in the world. It’s actually taken that similar role from ‘The Daily Show,’ and finessed it by making longer rants, with less skits, more context, and all the razor-sharp insight. I urge you to watch Oliver’s breakdown of the Ferguson uprising, his incredible interview with Edward Snowden in Russia (that finally made a real-life comparison of the NSA scandal that I could understand), and his explanation of how ridiculously unfair college sports is to athletes….please cancel your lunch date, and just start watching.

This past Sunday…’Last Week Tonight’ focused on a recent marketing slogan that somehow made it onto bottles of Bud Light beer. Seriously…what the fxck!?!

Did Rick Ross somehow get a copy-writing gig at Bud Light’s ad agency?

Not only did John Oliver take down Bud’s corporate checks and balances system hilariously…but the bonus parody commercial at the end, starring Wyatt Cenac, Alex Karpovsky, etc, was amazing.

Miss Info: Just a brief break from all the rap stuff. I know there’s everything from Rich Homie Quan fleeing the Liv goons on a speedboat like he’s Sonny Crockett from Miami Vice And there Action Bronson cookin’ up with his red-headed doppelganger Mario Batali. And if you haven’t watched Mikey’s sit down with ASAP Rocky in Austin, that will touch anyone with a human heart.

Day three of The FADER Fort at SXSW in Austin, Texas was one for the ages on Friday night. After sets by Big Sean, Migos and OG Maco, T-Pain closed the event appearing as am unannounced headliner. The Grammy Award-winning singer delivered one unforgettable one-hour performance, filled with back-up singers, choreographed dances and incredible vocals.

With his DJ Drama-assisted The Iron Way Gangsta Grillz mixtape set to arrive next week, T-Pain took music lovers down memory lane, with his long catalogue of hits spanning the decade. There are certain artists you do not play with — Ghostface Killah is one of them. The Wu-Tang Clan member had a concert in Amarillo, Texas last Friday, where an unknown man in the crowd didn’t take a liking to Ghostface. During the performance, the man was heckling and directing his middle finger towards GFK. After stopping the show to call out the crowd heckler, fans of the legendary rapper decided to beat up the dude before he was thrown out by security.

(Varys and Tyrion: The last two people you want on your bad side.)

Miss Info: I’m flying blind here and it feels good. What I mean is that I no longer have any clue what will happen on the upcoming season of HBO’s Game of Thrones. A few years ago, I made the mistake of getting hooked on the actual Game of Thrones books by George R.R. Martin. It was a mistake on multiple levels. Mainly because they’re over thousand pages each. What a monumental time suck! How many hours was that, sitting on my ass, eating Pirate’s Booty, hunched over my Kindle, not interacting with humans? If I hadn’t quit these books, would I even be settled down and expecting my first baby today? *mind blown*

But my point is that, the HBO series has finally outpaced my brain’s stash of spoilers. Which makes me even more excited for the start of Game of Thrones Season 5 on April 12, 2015. And judging from this leaked trailer, we will get to see the world of the throne-less wandering Mother of Dragons (Daenerys Targaryen) collide with the conniving incestuous shaky kingdom of the Lannister Lions (Cersei and Jaime Lannister, Margaery Tyrell, and Tommen Baratheon) all thanks to the ultimate backdoor puppet-master Varys the eunuch and the teflon-don Tyrion Lannister….

Following in the footsteps of Ariana Grande and Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow was the latest star on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in the mood for Broadway sounds.

Paltrow, a big fan of rap music, showed off her singing skills as she covered Drake’s “Started from the Bottom,” Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda,” and Big Sean’s “I Don’t F*** with You” with a Broadway twist. Watch the hilarious moment below.
