The music industry continues to mourn after the sudden death of model/actress Kim Porter on Thursday (Nov. 15). Porter, who was the ex-girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs, has three kids with the Bad Boy CEO. After being silent for three days, the mogul took to social media to tribute the mother to his 20-year-old son Christian and 11-year-old twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila.

“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare,” says Diddy. “But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SHIT!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.” The cause of Porter’s death is still unknown to this point. TMZ reports the 47-year-old had been sick with pneumonia for several weeks. Rihanna, Missy Elliott, Drake, 50 Cent and more have paid tribute to Porter following her sudden passing.

Kim Porter, model-actress, passed away at age 47 on Thursday (Nov. 15). TMZ reports the ex-wife of Sean “Diddy” Combs was found dead at her Los Angeles area home around noon. Law enforcement and paramedics arrived at Porter’s Toluca Lake home after family members went to wake her up and she was non-responsive. The cause of her death is unknown but a source close to Kim tells TMZ she has been suffering flu-like symptoms and possibly pneumonia, for several weeks. Porter and Diddy started dating in 1994, as their relationship faced several breakups and makeups, finally coming to an end in 2017.

The couple have three kids together – twin girls Jessie James and D’Lila who were born in 2006, and their son Christian Combs, born in 1998. Porter also has a son Quincy Brown, from her previous relationship with singer Al B. Sure!. Porter, Diddy and their full family were seen together last on October 30th, as they attended the premiere for Quincy’s movie, The Holiday Calendar. Artists like Rihanna, Drake, 50 Cent, Missy Elliott, Questlove and more have taken to social media to express their condolences following the shocking news.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have called it quits. TMZ reports the pop singer and SNL comedian ended their relationship this weekend, just six months after getting engaged. The engagement, now off, was a mutual decision according to sources close to the couple. The breaking point came from Ariana’s side, dealing with the devastating loss of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who passed away in September.

TMZ reports Grande has been in a dark space following Miller’s death, though she doesn’t blame herself for the rapper’s passing. An emotional wreck, Grande realized it was too soon to rush and get married and that she can’t be fully invested into a relationship currently. Grande recently has been spotted supporting Davidson on-set of the new season of Saturday Night Live, which kicked off in late September.

Days after blasting Drake and Nick Cannon, it was all about family for Kanye West on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 23). Kanye and his son, Saint West, appeared at the Guaranteed Rate Field to throw out the first pitch before the Chicago White Sox vs. Chicago Cubs game. Wearing a White Sox jersey and a pair of unreleased adidas Yeezy 700 V2s, Kanye was all smiles walking onto the field as his “Homecoming” classic played in the stadium. In Chicago Bulls gear, Saint looked on as his dad threw a strike down the middle before the crosstown matchup.

The appearance comes after Kanye recently announced he will be returning home, living in Chicago. The rapper/designer has two albums on the way, Good Ass Job with Chance the Rapper, and Yandhi on September 29th.

Kanye West is making headlines daily for various reasons. The latest news comes from a series of Instagram posts Kanye made on Thursday (Sept. 20), aimed at Drake, Nick Cannon, and model Tyson Beckford over his wife Kim Kardashian West. In the case of Cannon and Beckford, Kanye clapped at the two celebrities for their recent comments about his wife in interviews with TMZ and VladTV. Beckford commented on Kim Kardashian’s body being fake, while Cannon spoke on dating Kim before her various surgeries.

The music world is still in mourning and reeling after Mac Miller’s sudden death, due to a reported drug overdose exactly one week ago today (Sept. 14). One person who has kept silent and has been grieving privately is Ariana Grande, Miller’s ex-girlfriend. The pair had been dating for two years until the couple ended their relationship earlier this year. Its was reported at the time that one of the reasons the relationship ended was due to Miller’s addiction issues. Now a week later, Grande has dedicated an emotional post to her ex-boyfriend.

“i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long,” said the singer. “above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re okay now. rest.”

Last night, a vigil for Mac Miller was held at the Blue Slide Park section of Frick Park in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Fans gathered in their thousands to mourn the 26-year-old rapper, who tragically passed away from a suspected overdose last Friday (September 7). Music was played, weed was burned and candles were lit in memory of the beloved MC.

After ten years of silence, dealing with a divorce and custody issues, Nas is speaking out once and for all. The rapper and entrepreneur took to Instagram on Thursday (Sept. 6), responding to his ex-wife Kelis’ allegations of abuse during their marriage. Back in April, Kelis revealed in an interview that Nas was unfaithful to her during their marriage and the Queens MC physically abused her, often leaving bruises on her body.

“I didn’t Wana speak up because i have real respect for our women. And definitely my son. I do not beat women. I did not beat up my ex wife. Stop,” said Nas in a series on lengthy Instagram posts. It’s all about family for Harper’s Bazaar’s icons issue. Called ICONS: The First Families of Music, the issue stars many icons in music alongside their children. Kanye West covers the magazine, posing with his kids North West and Saint West. “I hope my children never lose their confidence to society,” is Kanye’s message to go along with the feel-good photos with his kids. Erykah Badu and her daughters, Lionel Richie and his child Nicole Richie, Bruce Springsteen and his daughter Jessica, and Christina Aguilera with her two kids also appear in the fall issue.
