Nicki Minaj appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (Jun. 27) to promote her new single, “MEGATRON.” The Young Money Queen sat down with the comedian/late night show host to discuss her new record going No. 1 on iTunes, and announcing that her new album is on the way. Minaj revealed that she has a release date and title ready but decided to keep those details quiet.

Backed by The Roots, Minaj would play a game of ‘Wheel of Freestyle’ where she had to include three random words into her rap. The most hilarious moment came during a segment where Nicki and Fallon went out to dinner at a local Red Lobster. Minaj, who used to work for the restaurant chain before rising to rap fame, ordered a big feast and later served dishes to patrons.

After Young Thug and Lil’ Uzi Vert, Nardwuar’s Rolling Loud adventure continued with meeting Lil’ Nas X. The Atlanta hitmaker, whose “Old Town Road” continues to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart, caught up with The Human Serviette after performing with Billy Ray Cyrus at the music festival in Miami, Florida. In the conversation, Lil’ Nas X is gifted a 60-year-old country magazine, a 💩 emoji bubble bath, and a vintage Canadian belt buckle.

The 20-year-old discussed becoming viral, his father being a gospel artist, being a student of the internet, and his style. Watch the interview and check out Lil’ Nas X’s Rolling Loud performance with Billy Ray Cyrus below.

Nardwuar and Lil’ Uzi Vert’s last encounter ended abruptly when Uzi decided to run away during their interview in Vancouver. The Human Serviette and Philly rapper ran into each other once again, this time backstage at Rolling Loud 2019 over the weekend in Miami. After being given a custom car air freshner and speaking on his DJ being Prince Paul’s son, Uzi again decides to run off. Never the one to give up, Nardwuar eventually catches up to Lil’ Uzi Vert, who delivers the trademark ‘Doot doo!’ before being whisked away in an SUV.

Most of the Hip-Hop community converged to Miami this weekend for the annual Rolling Loud Festival. Nardwuar took advantage of rap’s biggest festival, first catching up with Young Thug. With Gunna by his side, a smiling Thugger accepted gifts from The Human Serviette that included a Lethal Weapon vinyl, a Flintstones vinyl, Jimi Hendrix poster, and more. Sadly, the interview was short as the Slime King was in a rush to perform on stage during Travis Scott’s Rolling Loud set. Watch the quick encounter below.

The Migos are full fledged pop superstars. The Atlanta group were the latest guests in James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke series. Riding through sunny Los Angeles, the trio of Quavo, Takeoff and Offset joined the comedian inside his SUV to rap along to a handful of familiar songs. Along with “Walk It, Talk It” and “Bad and Boujee,” the crew belt out their best vocals (and ad-libs) to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” After counting up $200,000 in straight cash, Corden and Migos go on a shopping spree for some stylish clothes. The adventure would return back to the car, ending with a sing-a-long to the Migos’ smash-hit “Motor Sport” and Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline.”

Chance the Rapper has a new occupation, a Lyft driver. The Grammy Award winning rapper went undercover for the ride sharing service for some fun and to promote a greater cause. A handful of unsuspecting passengers are driven around Chicago by “John,” where music, love, and a rap debate comes up during their trips. Wearing sunglasses and a beanie, Chance/”John” also takes the time to inform the riders that his charity The New Chance Fund (along with the help of SocialWorks), is using the Round Up and Donate feature in the Lyft app to support Chicago Public Schools.

Back in the summer, Jimmy Kimmel did a special hip-hop edition of Mean Tweets with Lil’ Wayne, 50 Cent, A$AP Rocky and more. In celebration of the 2018 American Music Awards, the late-night show returned with another edition of Mean Tweets starring a handful of artists. The 44th season of Saturday Night Live premieres this weekend with a bang. Kanye West will take to the stage as musical guest, as Star Wars actor Adam Driver serves as guest host. All eyes will be on Kanye, who is also releasing his new album YANDHI on the same day. Before the upcoming television appearance, Kanye, Adam Driver and Kenan Thompson star in SNL‘s promo spot before the season premiere airs. Keeping a straight face and wearing the controversial “Make America Great Again” hat made famous by President Trump, Kanye keeps quiet until revealing what his Star Wars character would be named.
