Nardwuar and Lil’ Uzi Vert’s last encounter ended abruptly when Uzi decided to run away during their interview in Vancouver. The Human Serviette and Philly rapper ran into each other once again, this time backstage at Rolling Loud 2019 over the weekend in Miami. After being given a custom car air freshner and speaking on his DJ being Prince Paul’s son, Uzi again decides to run off. Never the one to give up, Nardwuar eventually catches up to Lil’ Uzi Vert, who delivers the trademark ‘Doot doo!’ before being whisked away in an SUV.

Most of the Hip-Hop community converged to Miami this weekend for the annual Rolling Loud Festival. Nardwuar took advantage of rap’s biggest festival, first catching up with Young Thug. With Gunna by his side, a smiling Thugger accepted gifts from The Human Serviette that included a Lethal Weapon vinyl, a Flintstones vinyl, Jimi Hendrix poster, and more. Sadly, the interview was short as the Slime King was in a rush to perform on stage during Travis Scott’s Rolling Loud set. Watch the quick encounter below.

ScHoolboy Q’s new album CrasH Talk debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart this week with 78,000 copies. The TDE lyricist has been a promo run for the project with various interviews and a feature in GQ. While in New York making rounds, the L.A. native recently caught up with Charlamagne Tha God for a ‘CrasH Talk’ one-on-one conversation.

During the 39-minute talk, Q opens up on his last album The Blank Face LP poor commercial performance, scrapping three different albums before CrasH Talk, the pressure of being a provider and keeping up a lifestyle, Nipsey Hussle’s death, love for golf, family life and wanting all girls, his daughter Joy and more. For the first-time, ScHoolboy Q also opens up on the loss of his close friend Mac Miller. He details the last conversation the pair had over facetime and playing Mac his new album, which lead to Q breaking down while speaking on the late Pittsburgh star.

YG’s new single “Go Loko” has been buzzing since its release last week. The record, which also features Tyga and Jon Z, even got praise from Drake who shouted out the track on his Instagram Story over the weekend. The Bompton rapper appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday (May 6), where he performed the song for the first-time live with T-Raww and the Puerto Rican trap artist. YG was also a guest on Kimmel’s New Lyrics for Old People segment, where the comedian/talk show host translates some of the song’s explicit lyrics.

“Go Loko” will appear on YG’s new album 4 Real 4 Real, due May 24th via Def Jam Records. Watch the performance and hilarious moment below.

Last week, news broke that Bun B and his wife Angela “Queenie” Walls were the victims of an attempted home invasion and robbery at his Houston residence. After answering the door thinking it was a delivery person, Queenie was confronted by an armed male wearing a mask who was demanding valuables. After offering the keys to her Audi and some valuables, Bun B heard the commotion and rushed to her safety while armed which lead to a shootout. The couple escaped unarmed, and Houston police arrested the suspect, Demonte Jackson, after he checked himself into a local hospital to have his gunshot wound treated. Jackson has since been charged with two felony counts of aggravated robbery with a weapon and one felony count for burglary.

Still recovering from the incident, the couple appeared on The Breakfast Club to open up about the traumatic experience. Along with their lawyer, Charles Adams, Bun and Queenie detail how a normal day was turned up side down, Bun B being prepared, the right to own guns legally in Texas, Queenie coping and dealing with the trauma, and more.

Catching up with Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee, ScHoolboy Q discussed taking two years to record his new album, all artists on TDE taking their time to release projects, praise from Nas, parenting, his 10-year-old daughter being home schooled, Kendrick Lamar being a tough critic, supporting L.A.’s new rising artists, a Black Hippy album not happening, not being comfortable with fame, taking up golf, and more.

With his new album CrasH Talk only days away, ScHoolboy Q is the latest artist to be featured in GQ. For the profile, the TDE MC takes the publication to the Calabasas Country Club for a round of golf. The feature details Q’s rise to rap stardom and the three-year break since his last album, The Blank Face LP. During that down time, the father opens up on getting into golf, and it providing patience. “I’d be in the house smoking weed, just waiting to go to the studio every day. That’s not a good life. That brings on depression,” Q says. “You know how bad it is when you’re going through all this shit in your head and all you’re doing is going to the studio and back home? It’s toxic for your kid, too.”

Like many of today’s heavyweight artists, J. Cole rarely gives interviews. Over the past month though, the Roc Nation MC has sat down with both GQ and XXL. After headlining his first-ever Dreamville Fest last weekend, J. Cole sat down with the Rap Radar podcast backstage following his performance.

During the 22-minute conversation, Cole World discussed the logistics and putting together the Dreamville Fest in Raleigh, North Carolina. The 34-year-old speaks on building Dreamville Records and the process when it comes to signing artists like J.I.D and Earthgang. His highest charting record to date, Cole breaks down how the T-Minus produced “Middle Child” came together and the urgency to put it out. Recording “a lot” with 21 Savage, his run of guest features in 2018, paying tribute to Nipsey Hussle, the Revenge of the Dreamers III compilation album, and taking the next step with the artists on Dreamville Records.

Kim Kardashian is the cover star of Vogue‘s new issue. The reality television star/entrepreneur made headlines earlier this week after revealing in the cover story her plans to study and become a lawyer. For the feature, Kim is also the latest celebrity to appear in the magazine’s 73 Questions series. In between giving viewers a tour of her minimalistic Calabasas home designed by Axel Vervoordt, Kardashian and her husband Kanye West answer various questions about their life.

Family, awkward talents, pet peeves, and questions she’s tired of being asked, Kim reveals all in the wholesome interview. Kim and Kanye’s children, North, Saint and Chicago also make cameos in the interview. Watch it below.

Lil Nas X is the latest viral artist to impact the world thanks to his single “Old Town Road.” After the song was removed from Billboard Country chart because Billboard felt the song didn’t feature enough “elements of Country music, the legendary Billy Ray Cyrus joined its official remix. Now, “Old Town Road” is recently the number one song on Billboard’s overall singles chart.
