Azealia Banks has kept a low profile after being banned from Twitter earlier this year, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been busy.

The Harlem rapper took to Facebook over the weekend to update her fans on her latest movements, announcing that she’s signing with the legendary RZA. The specifics of the deal are unclear, but Ms. Banks, who released her latest mixtape Slay-Z independently, says she and RZA “have an excellent work chemistry” and are planning to make music together.

The pair have been working together on the upcoming musical drama, Coco, which is directed by RZA and stars Banks as a “twentysomething female rapper named Coco.” The film also features Common and Jill Scott.

A lucky former studio employee is selling off what he says are Tupac Shakur’s 1996 recording session of “Catchin’ Feelings.” Along with a few other verses, the man has listed them up for auction, according to TMZ, and they are now fetching upwards of $40,000.

As rumors continue to circle around a potential joint album between Jay Z and Beyoncé, it looks like the other half of The Throne has found a new running mate, too. Kanye West was one of a handful of special guests to join Drake at last night’s OVO Fest in Toronto, where he all but confirmed a full-length collaboration between Yeezy and Drizzy.

“The subject in the video seen singing loudly was detained briefly to avoid any further disturbances,” a spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department told NME about a recent arrest gone viral. Apparently, the Beyonce stan was belting out her “Formation” single at the top of his lungs in a mall when cops came in to apprehend him. According to the reports, the man was off his psychiatric meds at the time of the incident.

After a quick trip to the U.K., Desiigner returned to the Big Apple for a club performance in NYC on Thursday night (May 6). The Brooklyn native, whose hit-song “Panda” sits at No. 1 on the Hot 100 for two straight weeks, is known for his wild dances and antics during his live show. It appears during the appearance at 1 OAK nightclub, Desiigner’s high energy was too much for Justin Bieber. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper’s performance spilled into Bieber’s VIP area reports TMZ, after getting stepping on a few times, Justin had enough as he’s seen pushing Desiigner out of his way.

Skip Bayless made a huge announcement this week as he revealed that he is leaving ESPN. After 12 years with the sports network, his last appearance on First Take will happen after the NBA finals. It appears as if Bayless is heading to Fox.

Thank technology for the livestream. Following Tupac and Eazy-E‘s “resurrections” at Coachella and Rock The Bells, respectively, The Notorious B.I.G. is set to become the latest MC brought back to life in hologram form this year. According to Billboard, Los Angeles-based holographic technology company ARHT Media have secured the rights to Biggie’s hologram after striking a deal with ByStorm Entertainment, who handles the late rapper’s estate alongside his mother Voletta Wallace and widow Faith Evans.

The Drake vs. Meek Mill beef may have cooled off lately, but apparently there’s still a few stones that have yet to be turned.
