Azealia Banks has kept a low profile after being banned from Twitter earlier this year, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been busy.
The Harlem rapper took to Facebook over the weekend to update her fans on her latest movements, announcing that she’s signing with the legendary RZA. The specifics of the deal are unclear, but Ms. Banks, who released her latest mixtape Slay-Z independently, says she and RZA “have an excellent work chemistry” and are planning to make music together.
The pair have been working together on the upcoming musical drama, Coco, which is directed by RZA and stars Banks as a “twentysomething female rapper named Coco.” The film also features Common and Jill Scott.
