G-Eazy’s latest single “West Coast” is another certified banger added to his growing list of hits. The Oakland rapper appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday (Apr. 29), where he performed the track with Blueface and ALLBLACK. Sticking to the music video’s theme, the performance was shot in black-and-white as the trio move from the outside lot to the studio stage indoors. Watch the action below.

Ari Lennox is ready to step and bring listeners into her world. The first lady of Dreamville Records has announced her Shea Butter Baby debut album is set to drop on May 7. The 12-track LP features appearances by her Dreamville labelmates J. Cole (“Shea Butter Baby”), and J.I.D (“Broke”). Available for pre-order now, fans who make their advance purchase can instantly download a new track off the album, “Up Late.” The record is produced by Kojo, Masego, Hollywood JB, Biggkid and Nick Quinn.

John Singleton has passed away at the age of 51 after suffering complications from a stroke. The famed director, known for his 1991 crime-drama film Boyz In The Hood, had been in a coma since first suffering the stroke on April 17th. TMZ reports Singleton had checked himself into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after experiencing weakness in his leg. The filmmaker died on Monday (Apr. 29), after being taken off life support.

Anderson .Paak’s new album Ventura debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 album chart last week. The Grammy Award-winning musician continued his recent promo run with an appearance on The Ellen Show. Backed by The Free Nationals, the California star delivered a soulful performance of the album cut “Make It Better.”

Los Angeles radio station Real 92.3 has curated a stacked Hip-Hop lineup for their first-ever Real Street Festival. A$AP Rocky, Future and Migos will headline the two-day event this summer. 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Meek Mill, Miguel, TDE (Jay Rock, SiR, Reason & Zacari), Rae Sremmurd, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Lil’ Baby, Kid Ink, KYLE, Rich The Kid, Trippie Redd, Blueface, YBN Cordae, Sheck Wes and more make up the loaded lineup. A surprise fourth headliner and additional guests will also be announced in the coming weeks.

The inaugural Real Street Festival takes place on August 10 – 11 at the Honda Center Grounds in Anaheim, California. Tickets are on-sale now and can be purchased here.

21 Savage touches on the subject of vanity and social media in the new music video, “ball w/o you.” In support of his sophomore album i am > i was, the visual takes place in Los Angeles where a girl of interest seems more focused to faking it for Instagram versus spending time with 21. Wrapped up in the night life and taking photos, the pretty co-star ends up getting the boot while the Atlanta rapper finds companionship elsewhere.

i am > i was debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 at the end of last year, featuring appearances by J. Cole, Post Malone, Travis Scott, Childish Gambino, ScHoolboy Q, Offset of Migos, Lil Baby, Gunna, City Girls, Project Pat & Young Nudy.

Pharrell Williams’ inaugural Something in the Water Festival took over the shores of Virginia Beach, VA this weekend. The three-day festival got off to a bad start as the first day was cancelled due to heavy rain. The skies cleared and the sun was out strong for day two on Saturday (Apr. 27), loaded with performances by SZA, Travis Scott, A$AP Ferg, J Balvin and more. The highlight of the night came from Pharrell himself, who delivered a thrilling set of hits with some superstar friends. Diddy, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Usher, Snoop Dogg, Charlie Wilson, Tyler, the Creator, N.E.R.D. and Busta Rhymes all make appearances. The biggest surprise of the night came towards the end of Pharrell’s set, as JAY-Z joined his long-time collaborator to perform the song “Frontin.”

A night after performing his ‘B-Sides 2’ show, the mogul/rapper joined Skateboard P for a medley of “P.S.A.,” “Izzo,” “Excuse Me Miss Again (La-La-La),” and “Give It 2 Me.” The ‘SITW’ Festival continues on Sunday (Apr. 28) with performances by Chris Brown, Anderson. Paak and The Free Nationals, Teddy Riley & Friends, Pusha T, DRAM and Jhené Aiko.

Hosted by XO Cash, episode four of The Weeknd’s “Memento Mori” Beats 1 radio show broadcasted on Saturday night (Apr. 27). The show was filled with exclusives, including a track from Offset and 21 Savage. Another unreleased record from the vaults is a new collaboration from Gucci Mane and Travis Scott, a song called “Murda.” Their second record together following “Last Time,” no additional details are known if this song will end up on a future project.
