A$AP Twelvyy has always been A$AP Mob’s secret weapon. Even before the release of his impressive 2017 debut project 12, the Harlem rapper was dropping smooth, slick verses on songs like A$AP Rocky’s “Trilla,” Flatbush Zombies’ “Half Time,” Smoke DZA’s “Game 7” and Asher Roth’s “Bastermating.”
In case you need any more convincing, just peep his latest solo release, “Child’s Play,” which pairs reflective raps about childhood innocence (“Kobe was a rookie, Grandpa was a bookie / Mama cooking cookies, Papa serving cookies”) with a ridiculously fire beat from Tyler Dopps.
