Post Malone’s Beerbongs & Bentleys sophomore album just dropped on Friday (Apr. 27), and it’s already making an impact on the streaming charts. Posty’s new album has broken Spotify’s opening day streaming record in the USA. Lead by the Billboard smashes “Rockstar” and “Psycho,” Beerbongs & Bentleys was streamed 47.9 million times on the first day. It breaks J. Cole’s K.O.D. (64.5m streams), which previously held the record last week.
Beerbongs & Bentleys also breaks the same record for worldwide streams, as it was played a whopping 78.7 million on its release day. The album features guest appearances by Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy, YG, Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd, and 21 Savage.

Saweetie exploded onto the music scene last year, with her viral hit, “ICY GRL.” The record, a freestyle, found the femcee rapping over Khia’s “My Neck, My Back.” After the music video for “ICY GRL” racked up millions of views on YouTube, Saweetie signed with Warner Bros. Records and released her High Maintenance EP last month. Repping the Bay Area, Saweetie grabs a fellow native in Kehlani for the official remix.

Back in February, G Herbo dropped the deluxe edition of his Humble Beast debut album. The updated project comes with 10 new tracks, including the “Everything” remix featuring Chance the Rapper and Lil’ Uzi Vert. Lil’ Herb now returns with an official video for the remix, a dark visual filled with street business and twerking women. Chance the Rapper joins his fellow Windy City native in the LVTRKEVIN-directed clip.

Just hours after trolling the music world, Kanye West actually returns with a real track. Premiered by the L.A. Leakers on Power 106, Yeezy debuts “Ye vs. the People.” The song, featuring T.I. as the people, finds Kanye attempting to explain his controversial tweets over the past week. Kanye and Tip go back-and-forth on the track, with T.I. giving his rebuttals to some of Ye’s puzzling thoughts on President Donald Trump, and other social issues. In the end, the two agree to disagree.
UPDATE: Like “Lift Yourself,” “Ye vs. the People” is now officially out on all streaming services and iTunes.
