They may have been a few days late, but The Smokers Club still celebrated 4/20 in style as the 2018 Smokers Club Festival descended upon Long Beach, CA over the weekend. Wiz Khalifa headlined the Saturday night (April 28) by performing his cult classic mixtape Kush & Orange Juice in its entirety, as well as bringing out Curren$y, Big Sean and the whole Taylor Gang crew. Fans were also treated to performances from ScHoolboy Q, 2 Chainz and Lil Pump.
Then, on the Sunday (April 29), Kid Cudi assumed headlining responsibilities with a set that spanned his catalog and collaborations, and only ups the excitement for what’s sure to be a huge summer — thanks to his hotly-anticipated album with Kanye West called Kids See Ghost, dropping June 8. Mac Miller, Earl Sweatshirt and Isaiah Rashad also hit the stage earlier in the day.
Check out highlights from the 2018 Smokers Club Festival below.

It’s been exactly six months since Offset and 21 Savage teamed up with Metro Boomin to drop their collaborative album Without Warning. Over the weekend — and with little heads up — an unreleased effort between Offset and 21 called “Hot Spot” surfaced online. Instead of Metro Boomin, though, it’s Zaytoven who handles the production. If we had to guess, we’d say this one’s been in the vaults for a minute.

J. Cole takes the top spot on Billboard. The Dreamville MC’s fifth studio album, K.O.D., debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Released earlier this month, the project moved 397,000 equivalent album units (215,000 of that sum from streaming) opening week, according to Nielsen Music. That total is now the biggest selling week for an album in 2018, surpassing Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods, which bowed at No. 1 with 293,000 units back in February.
K.O.D. becomes Cole World’s fifth consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It follows 4 Your Eyez Only (2016), 2014 Forest Hills Drive (2014), Born Sinner (2013), and Cole World: The Sideline Story (2011). K.O.D. produced the third-largest streaming week for an album ever with 322.7 million first-week on-demand audio streams. Only Drake’s More Life (384.8 million, 2017) and Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. (340.6 million, 2017) produced more.
