Nicki Minaj is putting an end to the rumors and media outlets trying to pit her against Cardi B. Soon after her “Motor Sport” collaboration with Migos and Cardi B dropped last week, outlets started to speculate the Young Money Queen and Bardi were trading subliminal disses on the track. The rumors only intensified after Joe Budden threw out a theory on Everyday Struggle that Nicki had no knowledge of Cardi B appearing on the song, and the Bronx rapper deciding to take a jab at Minaj after hearing her verse.
“I was on the song w/Quavo. No one else was on it. He called & asked if I think we should put Bardi on it, I said ‘ok let’s do it’. The end,” said Minaj in a series of tweets on Tuesday evening (Oct. 31), putting an end to all the false reports. “Anything w/my name on it gets approved by me. It can’t even go on a streaming service w/o me hearing it & giving written approval,” she would later say.

Back in September, G Herbo finally released his long-awaited Humble Beast debut album. Lil’ Bibby, Jeremih, Lil’ Uzi Vert, Lil’ Yachty and Bump J, Da Internz and Southside are some of the popular contributors on Lil’ Herb’s full-length project. In support of the album, the Chicago MC returns with a music video for the solo cut, “Man Now.”
Escaping the stress of the Windy City, Herb enjoys the peaceful confines of Montego Bay, Jamaica. “‘Man Now’ is one of the more important tracks on the album because it tells much of my story in the three to four minutes,” G Herbo tells FADER, who premiered the video. “Something that was destined for me in my life took me along a path to Jamaica, vacationing in a multi-million dollar estate. It’s about coming from a struggling household, a poverty stricken neighborhood, and overcoming the obstacles that I talked about — and, most importantly, never going back.”
