Chris Brown is planning to release his 8th studio album Heartbreak On A Full Moon sometime this year. After putting out the single “Grass Ain’t Greener” back in May, C. Breezy has kept a presence with guest features on songs by 50 Cent (twice), DJ Drama, and Teyana Taylor.

The R&B star is now back with some of his own music, dropping the Mike WiLL Made-It produced “Shabba.” Not to be confused with A$AP Ferg’s 2013’s hit, Brown’s new track features Wiz Kid, London crew Section Boyz, and Dallas rapper Hoody Baby.

Puff Daddy’s son aka the newest artist signed to Bad Boy made his rap debut earlier today (June 30). Christian Combs has taken the rap moniker King Combs and has been known to perform with his pops — usually as a stand in for Ma$e’s verses on the Bad Boy classics. However, he just debuted two now remixes with that undeniable shiny suit sound. After the jump, listen to King Combs make flow all over and SWV’s “One For Me” and Queen’s “Aint A Party.”

Joe Budden and producer araabMUZIK have a collaborative mixtape called Rage And The Machine coming out soon. For the first single, Jumpoff Joe taps long-time collaborator Fabolous and Toronto singer Tory Lanez on the smooth and sexy “Flex.” While it’s not the Drake/Meek Mills diss song many have been anticipating due to Budden’s recent talk on Twitter, the track sets the tone for the summer perfectly.

Already this year, I’ve witnessed him crush the stage at 2 or 3 big festivals — including Coachella — and it’s been crazy each time. Rihanna got the week started by unleashing the track “Sledgehammer,” the lead single in support of the upcoming sci-fi film Star Trek Beyond. The pop superstar now returns to debut its music video, which first premiered Thursday (Jun. 30) on IMAX, the first to receive that treatment.

In the breathtaking clip directed by Floria Sigismondi, RiRi moves with nature as she roams around a deserted alien planet. As she moves and belts out her intense vocals, the land shifts. Penned by Sia, the track appears in the STB trailer, as the movie starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and Zoe Saldana hits theatres on July 22.

On Wednesday night, ScHoolboy Q was in the building at the The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to light up the studio stage. After previewing his album for press in New York City earlier that day, Q performed “THat Part” with a live band — sans Kanye West, but it was still ill regardless.

This one’s for the New York and tri-state! D-Block representative and fellow Yonkers native Sheek Louch and Uncle Murda connect on “I Love NY” with up and comer Dax Mpire for an ode to the Big Apple. All three rock a beat by Infamous DJ Haze, who slows things down for the hook, but keeps the energy of that 2pac and Dr. Dre classic for the verses. Problem has been trying to make some impact with his single “My Squad” for a minute. Today, the single gets an update from the Atlanta side of things with 2 Chainz jumping on the track. A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes Vol. 1 is tentatively scheduled to release next month on July 22. One track that will appear on the project is Playboi Carti’s “What” featuring Uno The Activist. In the music video first premiered on the streets of London on Wednesday (Jun. 29), Carti, Uno, and A$AP Rocky turn a boring bougie party inside out.
