This Christmas, sports fans will be receiving one of the most gripping sports films in recent history. In the upcoming film, Will Smith star as Dr. Bennet Omalu — the person who discovered chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). The deadly disease has serious affects on athletes like football players and boxers.

Concussion follows how the NFL lobbied against Dr. Omalu’s findings about the neurological disease caused by multiple head injuries and/or concussions. He’s faced with the daunting task of bringing attention to a dangerous component of a multi-million dollar corporation in an emotional journey.

The movie will hit theaters nationwide on Dec. 25.

Jeezy is ready to get back at it. Over the weekend, the Atlanta rapper released a cryptic video on Instagram, showing a black cat prowling around. On Monday, Jeezy took to Twitter, posting a letter that explains the video and announcing his new solo LP will arrive on Friday, November 13.

The untitled album will serve as Jeezy’s sixth solo effort, a follow-up to Seen It All: The Autobiography, released in 2014. The new single “God” produced by TM-88 and Southside will also drop later on Monday.

The man who provided generations with fear and introduced the world to Freddie Kruger and Scream has passed away.Wes Craven died away from brain cancer at Sunday at his home in Los Angeles. He was 76.

Since the ’70s, the legendary writer/director has created some of the most talked about and successful American horror flicks that went on to gross billions worldwide.

There isn’t anything like a Tim Westwood interview these days. The UK O.G. just has a certain level of goofiness and genuine hilarity that no one can match in hip-hop. P-Chopz over at Complex brought their recent interview to my attention — and I’m still laughing.

I think I should also point out that Thugger rarely even gives interviews but seemed to be extremely entertained with Westwood’s brand of video journalism.

Just moments after performing at the 2015 MTV VMAs, Justin Bieber debuts the short-film for his new single “What Do You Mean?.” With the help of co-star John Leguizamo, Bieber creates an elaborate plot to kidnap his girlfriend, played by Xenia Deli. The steamy cinematic visual quickly turns dramatic, until Bieber reveals the kidnapping was a playful surprise, as the couple parties at an underground skate park located in an abandoned warehouse.

Produced by Skrillex, “What Do You Mean?” serves as the first offering off Bieber’s forthcoming solo LP, due on November 13. The pop star has worked with the likes of Diplo, Drake, Rick Rubin and Kanye West this past year.

As expected, the 2015 MTV VMAs were filled with plenty of good and bad moments sure to be talked about all week. One of those moments came from Kanye West, who was honored with this year’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Presented to him by Taylor Swift, Kanye’s moment on stage turned into a 12-minute speech, where he reflected on the now infamous incident with Swift at the 2009 VMAs, award shows and their selection process, fatherhood, the importance of millennials and more.

Closing the speech, Kanye shocked many when he announced he will be running for U.S. President in 2020. “And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president,” said Kanye before dropping the mic and walking off stage to hug wife Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift.
