The new year will be a busy one for 50 Cent. Along with G-Unit’s The Beast is G-Unit EP on April 3 and the second season of Power coming this summer, 50’s Street King Immortal LP is also set to arrive later this year. Catching up with MTV News, the rapper-entrepreneur speaks on a new song with Eminem titled “Champions,” that will appear on his new solo album.
“[The song] sounds like one of those hit records you’ve heard from Eminem in the past [with] an R&B singer on the chorus,” he tells MTV. “And it’s one of those songs that he wrote his portion of the song before I got there.”

Though BOOTS is best known for his work on Beyoncé’s eponymous album, all signs are pointing to a breakout year for the mysterious singer/rapper/producer — and not through conventional methods, either. For his latest offering, the Roc Nation signee takes us on a brutal, psychedelic journey through a post-apocalyptic world in his new short film, Motorcycle Jesus.
Directed, edited and conceptualized by BOOTS himself, the 30-minute mini movie features stunning shots of the Mojave Desert, as well as original music from El-P and Autolux’s Carla Azar. The soundtrack drops March 3, which should warm us up nicely for BOOTS’ full-length debut expected later this year.

It’s been an eventful few days for Kanye West in London this week. As the ashes slowly settle from last night’s explosive performance at the 2015 BRIT Awards, where he debuted his new song “All Day” with Theophilus London, Allan Kingdom and half of North London, Yeezy catches up with BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe for what promises to be another unforgettable interview. According to Zane, there’s less shouting this time around, though.

Inglewood’s Skeme rolls out the red carpet for his forthcoming project — the sequel to 2013’s sorely slept-on Ingleworld — with this new trunk rattler. Sean Momberger’s piano-driven production slaps (echoes of Mannie Fresh, anyone?), but it’s no match for Skeme’s gruff delivery as he scorches another street sermon. Look for Ingleworld 2 coming soon, complete with guest spots from T.I., Young Thug and PeeWee Longway.

Emile Haynie has a résumé that can rival any, but the 34-year-old producer, songwriter and now solo artist remains a bit of a mystery to the masses. With his debut album We Fall fresh in stores, Emile sat down with The FADER to properly introduce himself to the world. He talks about his background in hip-hop, working with Kanye West and Lana Del Rey and how a rough break up motivated him to step out on his own. Oh, and he’s a huge Michael K. Williams fan, too.
