Action Bronson already has a fair share of outrageous videos under his belt. Now that he’s got access to a green screen, things only get crazier in the video for his latest single, “Actin Crazy,” produced by Noah “40” Shebib. Godzilla should be ashamed of that low-post defense, though.

When you think of hip-hop royalty from Long Island names like Eric B. & Rakim and EPMD automatically come to mind. In the skateboard world, there’s also a few legends from Strong Island — namely Gino Iannucci. With impeccable style and a trick selection that blew the heads away in the early ’90s, the kid cemented his position the skate community.
To commemorate Gino’s 20+ year long career and his love affair with hip-hop, Mighty Healthy has teamed up Gino for a limited edition capsule collection.

Brooklyn can be a brutally cold place this time of year, but it’s got nothing on Wati Heru’s new joint, “BKWYA.” Channeling the spirit of Gangsta Grillz-era Pharrell over a spine-chilling beat that sounds like a Hell Hath No Fury leftover, the East Flatbush MC cooks up a cooled-out BK anthem that’s less 1995 and more 2015.

Apparently, Kanye West was pretty close to joining Birdman and Gucci Mane in the face tat gang last night. Thankfully, though, Kim was there to talk him down from the ledge. Instead, he had his mothers’ birth date and North’s birthdate in Roman numerals inked on his wrists. Kanye’s tatts were done at the Sang Bleu shop in London by world renown artist Maxime Buechi. Equal parts afrocentric and eccentric, EarthGang occupy their own lane entirely in Atlanta right now. Just take the title of the duo’s latest mixtape Torba, which is the number seven in Oromo, the language spoken by one of Ethiopia’s oldest (and “baddest”) ethnic groups. The seven also refers to the number of tracks on the project with each song named after a day in the week — which is the minimum time required to fully digest Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot’s abstract rhymes.
Torba is the follow-up to EarthGang’s 2013 mixtape Shallow Graves For Toys, and features contributions from Mac Miller, OG Maco, Childish Major and more.

In her “Trouble” video, Iggy Azalea’s love interest decides to try and pull a caper for the cream, but finds himself in the long arms of the law. Thanks to police officer J. Hud.

Jack Ü, better known as the duo of Skrillex and Diplo, drop a surprise with the release of their debut album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü. Available now on iTunes, the 10-track LP features the previously released “Febreze” featuring 2 Chainz, and “Take Ü There” with Kiesza. Other appearances come from Missy Elliott on the “Take Ü There” remix, Bunji Garlin, and pop sensation Justin Bieber, who joins the EDM kings on “Where Are Ü Now.”
Leading up to the surprise drop and currently ongoing, Jack Ü are performing a live 24-hour DJ set that’s streaming live on Beatport. Listen to Jack Ü’s album in full below.

VA stand up! Two of Virginia’s finest hit the studio, as Missy Elliott and Pharrell Williams were spotted working together. Missy Elliott took to Twitter on Thursday, posting a photo of her and The Neptunes hitmaker in studio. “VA! 2 up 2 down! Me & my fam @Pharrell hard at work,” tweeted Missy to her 2.6 million followers, with her trademark infectious smile. Pharrell, who throws up a peace sign in the black-and-white photo, brought Missy Elliott out to perform at the Soul Train Awards last November.
Missy recently reunited with Timbaland, working with her go-to producer earlier this month. Let’s hope there’s new music on the way. In the meantime you can check out Missy on Jack Ü and Kiesza’s “Take Ü There” remix.

Big Sean has had one busy and rigorous promo run for his new album Dark Sky Paradise, available now.
