As a friend of Chris Brown since his very first showcase in New York City when he was still a young teen. Ebro has been in Breezy’s corner through all the ups & downs. Though, they haven’t had a radio interview in quite some time, their relationship has always been a 100. This morning (Oct 31), however, Chris finally returned to the morning show to discuss all the hot topics with HOT97’s Morning Show.

“For a while I was really just like lead a stray. Just with the wrong crowd — a while bunch of gang members. Just doing a gang of stuff I wasn’t supposed to be doing, ” says Chris about his string of erratic behavior and arrests earlier this year.

Chris says it was his family members that helped get him back on the right track. There was a period of time where the singer admits he was with all the wrong people.

Ebro: The drugs were a issue, too
Chris Brown: “Oh yea. I was turning up. I was off the syrup, the xanax. Turnin’ up
Ebro: At the same time?”
Chris Brown: Yea, you know… that’s the hood cocktail right there. And, I’m not ashamed to talk about it. A lot of our youth is doing it now, thinking it’s the cool thing to do. And I don’t knock anyone’s hustle but I just feel for me it wasn’t conducive to me. I was falling asleep on video sets, cussing people out, crazy stuff.

flying lotus ready err not

After delivering one of the best videos of the year for his collaboration with Kendrick Lamarm, Flying Lotus brings in Halloween with this nightmarish video for “Ready Err Not.” Tapping the twisted talents of David Firth (one of FlyLo’s “favorite animators of all time” and the creator of Salad Fingers), the creepy clip begins with FlyLo getting decapitated by a Sloth from The Goonies look-a-like, before a whole series of disturbing and downright indescribable scenes take place. Yep, you should probably wait until after work to give this a watch.
