Roc Nation’s British sensation Rita Ora has been fairly quiet on the music front these past few months — being the face of Superga’s new campaign, a Twitter spat with Azealia Banks and concerts all around the world have kept her occupied — but today she returns with a hot new video for “Facemelt.” It’s part of Hunger TV‘s Dirty Video series, which films visuals for album cuts that wouldn’t normally get the video treatment. Rita’s debut album, Ora, is out now on iTunes.

For a June release, Killer Mike and El-P are prepping a free album through Fool’s Gold. Yesterday they broke us off with a preview of the collaborative album to come with “Get It.” The track is a menacing ride of back and forth rapping. Looking to extend the high-notes of 2012’s R.A.P. Music, the frequent collaborators have taken on the moniker of Run The Jewels for their new project.

To quote J. Cole, “It’s just one of those nights.” Riding off the success of “Power Trip,” the Dreamvillain claims this season is his with “Cole Summer.” Sampling Lauryn Hill and D’Angelo’s 1998 collaboration “Nothing Even Matters,” the Roc Nation MC delivers a soulful record displaying his keen skill for storytelling.
J. Cole’s sophomore album Born Sinner arrives June 25. UPDATE: Truly Yours 2 EP arrives tomorrow.
“I’m just a Born Sinner, the opposite of a winner. Cole Summer, I predict another winter.”

We get our second dose of Chris Brown today. After appearing in Sean Kingston’s “Beat It” video with Wiz Khalifa, Breezy treats fans with a new song titled “I Can’t Win.” Brown croons with some help of auto-tune, reflecting on the ups and downs of relationships many face to this day.
Along with a new record, Chris reveals his upcoming sixth solo X album will arrive on July 16. The follow-up to 2012’s Fortune is lead by the single “Fine China,” currently No. 4 on Billboard’s R&B charts.

While we wait on the forthcoming Ghostface and DOOM album that Tony Stark promised would drop this year, here’s an appetizer to wet our appetites. Producer Clams Casino linked up with the mysterious rapper for “Bookfiend.” You probably know him best for his work with A$AP Rocky. We can’t say for sure when DOOM record his verse but the outcome is hypnotizing. Where’s my backpack?

This morning Pittsburgh’s Mac Miller faced off with Ebro, Rosenberg, and Cipha Sounds for another trip through the ringer. Diving right into the bait and switch tactics, the Hot97 crew tried their best to start some “White rapper” beef. Target one: Macklemore. However, Mac isn’t a new kid on the block anymore. He avoids the drama and explains that he has nothing but love for Macklemore and isn’t interested in beefing with white rappers or any rappers for that matter.

We’re not sure how Jay-Z feels about Kim’s single, but she’s definitely getting some clicks out of confusion. No, Hov is not on the song or in the video, and it’ll probably take some viewers until the end of this flick to figure that out. Overall, the ladies are trying let everyone know they feel as powerful at Jay on this track. Is it a hit or miss?

Juicy J is hardly one of hip-hop’s freshest faces, but his club bangers (and not to mention party antics) give him a pass with the younger generation. Just ask Casey Veggies, who gives Taylor Gang’s most turnt the guest spot on his new track, “Young Ni**as.” Casey’s Life Changes mixtape is out now, while Juicy’s debut album, Stay Trippy, is due in stores July 2.
