Ty Dolla $ign’s new album Beach House 3 is out everywhere. The L.A. singer continued his recent promo run with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday (Oct. 30). The multi-talented musician gave his hometown fans quite a show, rocking the outdoor stage with a medley of hits. Along with his new single “Ex” with special guest YG, Ty $ also performed the songs “So Am I,” “Paranoid” and “Luv U Better.”

On November 21st, A&E will debut its new six-hour Mini-Series ‘Who Killed Tupac?.’ Focusing on the investigation surrounding the death of the prolific and influential rap icon, Tupac Shakur. Each installment of this investigative series will include aspects of the legendary artist’s life as well as follow famed civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump as he conducts a full-scale, intensive investigation into key theories behind his murder.

Eminem and Chance the Rapper are joining forces for a special episode of Saturday Night Live next month. Slim Shady and Lil’ Chano from 79th have been announced as guests on the November 18th episode of late-night sketch comedy show. Chance the Rapper will serve as the show’s host, while Eminem has been tapped to be musical guest. The announcement comes as rumors continue to swirl that Eminem’s highly-anticipated new album is expected to arrive in November.

This will be the Detroit MC’s sixth appearance on SNL, last taking to the stage in November 2013. Chance served as musical guest in December 2016, performing the songs “Same Drugs” and “Finish Line.”

2 Chainz headed to New York City on Friday (Oct. 27), appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Sitting down on the late-night show, 2 Chainz introduced the audience to his dog Trappy. The Atlanta rapper also discussed touring with a broken leg, his Most Expensivest Sh*t series with GQ and gave Fallon a blind taste test to see if he can tell the difference between NYC tap water and an expensive bottle of 90H20 made in Beverly Hills.

The artist formerly known would later hit the stage, backed by The Roots to perform his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music single “4 AM” with special guest Travi$ Scott. Watch 2 Chainz and La Flame on Fallon below.

Khalid’s American Teen is now certified platinum. The El Paso singer took to Instagram on Tuesday (Oct. 25), announcing the career-mark for his debut album. “Earlier this year, I told myself that March 3rd was going to be the day that changed my life forever. 7 months later, American Teen is Platinum. Thank you guys so much for EVERYTHING! I love you guys! A debut album with NO features. LETS GOOOO,” said the 19-year-old.

Khalid followed that up hours later with an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Backed by a live band, Khalid performed his “Young Dumb & Broke” radio hit. Watch the moment below.

T-Pain’s new album OBLiViON is scheduled to arrive next month on November 17. The Grammy Award-winning singer appeared on MTV’s TRL on Tuesday (Oct. 24) to promote the project and his current acoustic tour. Assisted by Blac Youngsta, T-Pain performed his latest single “Goal Line,” plus an acoustic medley of “Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snap),” “Best Love Song,” “I’m ‘n Luv (Wit A Stripper),” “F.B.G.M.” & “Bartender.”

On November 17th, Frank Castle will make his small screen return in Marvel’s new Netflix series The Punisher. Detailing Castle’s journey from a family man in the Marines to violent vigilante on the streets of New York City, the show was executive produced by Cindy Holland and stars Jon Bernthal.

After making history as the first black woman to win an Emmy for comedy writing (on Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang’s Master of None) earlier this year, Lena Waithe is levelling up with her own show, The Chi. Executive produced by Common and directed by Rick Famuyiwa (Dope, Confirmation), the series is “a powerful coming-of-age drama series about an interconnected group of working-class African-Americans on Chicago’s volatile south side.” The cast includes Moonlight‘s Alex Hibbert, Straight Outta Compton‘s Jason Mitchell and The Get Down‘s Yolanda Ross, as well as Waithe and Common.

The Chi premieres January 7, 2018, on Showtime. Check out the trailer below.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! shifted to the east coast this week, taking over the Big Apple for their week-long “Back To Brooklyn” residency. It was only right the musical guest on Wednesday night was a New York-native, as Cardi B appeared on the late-night show. Dressed in pink from head-to-toe, the Bronx rapper performed her Billboard No. 1 smash-hit “Bodak Yellow” for the studio audience at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

The appearance comes a few weeks after Queen Bardi made her late-night television debut on The Tonight Show, performing her “No Limit” collaboration with G-Eazy. Watch Cardi bring the energy on Kimmel below.
