After appearances on The Tonight Show, Ellen, and hosting Saturday Night Live, Drake continued his recent promo run by appearing on NBC’s Maya & Marty. During the “Celebrity Sensations” segment, the OVO rapper gets probed by host Jiminy Glick (played by Martin Short in a fat suit), answering various awkward, weird, and uncomfortable questions.

Drake is confronted about his past as an actor, his government name, and the subject of circumcision comes up, relating to his Jewish background. “You’re a Jewish rapper. Isn’t that wonderful, Do you miss the hood. And when I say hood, I mean your foreskin,” says Glick. “You’re a Canadian former child star. So literally we’re talking about zero street cred,” Jiminy soon follows up with, before offering the Drizzy some donuts.

stephen colbert kanye west ellen spoof

Kanye West appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week and, depending on who you ask, either delivered a profound speech that changed daytime television forever…or waffled for eight minutes about how dressing people in overpriced Star Wars costumes will somehow end all suffering in the world. Stephen Colbert clearly thought the latter.

Poking fun at Kanye’s exploits for the second time this year, The Late Show host delivered his own Yeezy-esque stream-of-consciousness — only Colbert’s plan to change the world revolves around the indisputably important issue of hot dog buns. Cough up, Zuckerberg.

50 cent hostelworld

50 Cent can troll with the best of ’em (just ask Rick Ross or Meek Mill), but that doesn’t mean he can’t poke fun at himself. In this hilarious commercial for online booking company Hostelworld, dubbed “In Da Hostel,” Curtis Jackson plays along in a parody of MTV Cribs, the show where he famously flaunted his (former) luxurious Connecticut mansion. Making light of his recent bankruptcy (no, that doesn’t mean he’s flat broke), 50 takes us on a tour of Barcelona youth hostel that boasts 12,000 square feet, a foosball table and plenty of “dope-ass books.” It’s by no means a crappy spot, but it’s not exactly the lavish lifestyle 50’s used to either. If you can’t laugh at yourself…

After winning “Artist of the Year” at the Webby Awards, Kanye West caught up with good friend Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen Show on Wednesday afternoon (May 18). The artist/designer sat down with Ellen and discussed fatherhood, his son Saint West, if more kids are on the way, Kim Kardashian’s idea of Kanye having a Twitter advisor, and asking Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg for $1 billion.

In classic Kanye fashion, the 38-year-old went into an animated 8-minute stream-of-consciousness where he touched on wanting resources to get his various ideas out into the world, the lack of diversity at the Oscars, having synesthesia, moments with President Obama, plus references Rakim’s “I Ain’t No Joke,” the late Phife Dawg, and aiming to be the “Michael Jackson of apparel.” On a lighter note, an enthusiastic Kanye went head-to-head with Ellen in one of her favorite games, the “5 Second Rule.”

currensy-lil-wayne-

Curren$y is known to roll up a lil’ purple haze in his paper planes, but one thing he doesn’t mess with is that purple drank — and for good reason. During his appearance on the latest episode of N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs podcast, Spitta talks about the time he accidentally necked Lil Wayne’s lean, and almost died.

Drake will serve as host and musical guest on this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live. Before taking over NBC’s 30 Rock, the Canadian artist stars alongside cast member Leslie Jones in a promo commercial for the upcoming appearance. In the funny clip, roles are reversed as Jones wants to make the OVO rapper her baby, which Drizzy somewhat obliges to sitting on her knee.

The appearance is in support of Drake’s VIEWS LP, which moved one million units opening week, and set to take top spot for a second straight week on Billboard’s album charts.

vince staples responds to youtube comments

It was only a matter of time before Vince Staples appeared on Noisey‘s The People Vs. series. The always-entertaining Long Beach rapper rarely holds his tongue on Twitter, even when it comes to fans, so you already know he’s ready to correct the ig’nance that goes down in the YouTube comments section. Watch below as Vince claps back at the best — and worst — responses to his “Norf Norf” video.

Jessie Du Plessis: Vince and freddie gibbs need to do a collab

Vince: Stop telling people what the fuck to do. Why do I have to do a song with everybody? “You know what would be crazy? An album with Swizz Beatz, The Alchemist, Action Bronson, Danny Brown, Big L, Yung LA and 2 Chainz!” Shut the fuck up. Go do your homework, child.

flatbush zombies 2016

Flatbush Zombies are currently on tour in support of their recently released debut album 3001: A Laced Odyssey, but the Brooklyn trio still made time for Pitchfork‘s “Over/Under” series. In another hilarious and brutally honest episode, Meech, Juice and Erick rate everything from Macklemore and Matt Damon to Chipotle and O.J. Simpson (“Don’t be mad a n*gga got away with murder. Shit happens”) while sharing the truth about the moon landing. Sorry, NASA.
