Jimmy Kimmel returned on Thursday night with a new segment of the hilarious “Words From Your Mother.” The latest guest turned out to be ScHoolboy Q’s mother, who recited the lyrics to his Oxymoron single “Collard Greens.” As for the man himself? ScHoolboy Q later joined Tinashe to perform “2 On.”

Miss Info: Sure we’ve had some great music drops and some unfortunate hip hop romance revelations today…but above all, this is my favorite thing on the internet today. It’s wholly un-rap-related, but if you are an actual human being and not a bot…you’ll also melt into a puddle of feels like I just did.
KLM Airlines has hired a beagle named Sherlock to act as their instant lost-and-found delivery system. After a plane has un-boarded (de-boarded?), the KLM stewardesses check for any forgotten items, and when they find them…they call Sherlock, who takes the item in his KLM utility vest, runs through the airport, and scent-tracks the rightful owner.
Agggh! It’s so adorable I can’t even handle it!

Anyone around in the ’90s will surely remember the Pokemon craze. The animated trading cards swooped upon the American markets and quickly had kids and even adults obsessed over the little cardboard pieces. Pokemon also came in cartoon TV show and video game form, which gave its characters some serious cult followings. As homage to the former pop culture trend, P&P came out with some hilarous rapper-mon cards.

I first saw this video online at 7:55 AM today. By noon, there were thousands of re-posts of this gutsy reporter’s farewell to journalism. No, Charlo Greene didn’t retire, she just decided to quit her job on air to pursue a career in Marijuana full time. As the owner of Alaska’s biggest pot club, Greene made her big announcement for the world to see. Queen.

Update: The reporter explains why she did… what she did.

nardwuar aziz ansari

Breaking off from the rap game for a minute, Nardwuar turns his intense interrogation techniques to the comedy world as he tracks down Aziz Ansari, aka Drake’s favorite skit man. The actor/comic talks about his love for DJQBert, getting burgled by a gang of coke (as in Coca-Cola) bandits, and the time Cuba Gooding Jr. invaded his set when he was opening for Drizzy.

iggy-azalea

Iggy Azalea hit the stage at the Avalon in Hollywood on Friday night for a Lifebeat pre-VMA concert. The show almost went without a hitch, except for a small embarrassing moment. While performing her No.1 hit-song “Fancy,” the Aussie rapper fell off the stage as she was moving backwards, not paying attention. A true performer, Azalea continued rapping as security helped her up and back on stage.

Sorry but it would be a crime not to share this with you all, I know I laughed #StillFinishedtheSongTho #KeptOnRapping #TheShowMustGoOn,” said Iggy on Instagram, laughing at herself while posting a video of the fall. Watch the moment below.

notorious-big-1995-e1407448454556

Today marks the 20th anniversary of Biggie’s breakout single, “Juicy,” and Shea Serrano/Grantland took the time to put together an extensive standardized test on the classic record. There’s a couple “facts” that most rap fans are aware of, including all that was seen in Notorious. I guess only a few folks really know everything that went on behind-the-scenes, but if you consider yourself a rap scholar, take Grantland’s test and prove it!

Grantland tossed out a few disputed tidbits: Pete Rock says he came up with the original version, and that Diddy lifted it from him. Perhaps this is turnabout, though. Consider: In 1993, San Francisco’s Dre Dog released an album called The New Jim Jones. His lead single, “The Ave.,” also used a slice of Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit” as its spine.

Biggie wasn’t all that excited about recording the track at first. We all watched Notorious. We all saw that part of the movie:
