The past week, the missinfo.tv team has been absolutely consumed with music music music (and ghosts with six-packs). But we also love movies and tv (and food). I just landed back in NYC this morning and I’m already jonesing to catch up on my Game of Thrones episodes and I cant wait to see Avengers. But before we get back to downloading all the goodies that we collected out at Coachella…here’s just a short clip for all my fellow sci-fi pop culture junkies. It’s a viral video for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, the Alien prequel, where we meet David, the mass-produced robot “friend” played by Michael Fassbender. So creepy! Even creepier than sex-addict Fassbender! (also crepe-ier, skintone-wise)

Needless to say, it was a good week for artificial intelligence.

I wonder how Fassbender hunko-robot will compare to the classic Jude Law hunko-robot from A.I. Remember him? Sometimes I feel like Will I. Am got his whole steeze from Jude Law robot….

Rihanna maybe a big superstar but that doesn’t mean she won’t crowd surf and get in some mosh pit action. On Sunday night, Ri Ri made a surprise guest appearance during Scottish DJ/producer Calvin Harris’ set at Coachella’s Sahara tent. The Bajan pop star has been the most visible star during the three-day festival taking in Dr. Dre and Snoop’s show, along with The Weeknd, and A$AP Rocky, while tweeting her every move. Rihanna wasn’t alone as she brought her BFF Katy Perry to tag along for her impromptu performance of her hit with Calvin Harris, “We Found Love” plus their upcoming single “Where Have You Been.”

The highly interactive relationship between Nicki Minaj and her massive twitter following turned tense after Nicki blocked one of her longtime fan sites, NickiDaily. The catalyst: the fan site allegedly posted snippets of Nicki’s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded album before the release date. The resulting bickering between Nicki’s hardcore Barbz and NickiDaily proponents prompted Nicki to delete her twitter account completely, cutting off 11 million of her fanatic fans. NickiDaily also shut down their site, with only the “Closed” and audio from the song “Dear Old Nicki” visible on the main page.

Diddy takes us for one hell of a ride in his upcoming Julien Bachelet-directed short film, Paris Is Burning. The piece documents his recent stay in France for  Paris Fashion Week. In this short trailer, Sean Combs gives us a preview of the flashy life as he causes pandemonium in the streets of Paris, rubs shoulders with designer Marc Jacobs, sits front row on the catwalk with Cassie, and taking in the town’s nightlife. It isn’t a Diddy visual without a little stunting as he goes watch shopping with a visit to Rolex.

Nice! Rita Ora is on a tear. She added Drake to her “R.I.P. (Remix)” (which already features her fellow Brit Tinie Tempah). And she’s been making the rounds in NYC in high style…

But…that said, the remix is new to me, lol. And I still kind of like it.

Meanwhile Rita also performed last night at Cartier’s Juste un Clou After Party in Manhattan…and Jay-Z and Beyonce came out to support their Roc Nation signee.

2 Chainz came with a surprise on BET 106 & Park on Monday afternoon. Kanye West joined the artist formerly known as Tity Boi to “discuss” their work on the G.O.O.D. Music single, “Mercy.” The word “discuss” being used lightly as Kanye chose to keep silent and didn’t say a word throughout the whole interview. Might possibly be his new strategy when dealing with the media, 2 Chainz also spoke on hopping on Nicki Minaj’s “Beez in the Trap,” and premiered his video for “Riot.”

Oh Jesus. So it seems that right before we all started going bonkers over that new Kanye song feat. DJ Khaled and DJ Pharris “Theraflu” last night….Kanye and Kim Kardashian were hitting up a “Hunger Games” screening in Manhattan. So she’s clearly comfortable, nay flattered, by Kanye’s Kris Humphries ether. Ahh what a difference 72-days makes.
TMZ reports that their “dating relationship” is just getting started, but come on…they’ve dated in some way/shape for years now. He already used the “L” word. (“I’ll admit I fell in love with Kim ’round the same time she fell in love with him.”)

Hey, whatever floats Ye’s boat is all good. But my only concerns are…
1) If the fact that Kanye’s name also starts with K has any bearing on her affections, I’m throwing a damn uprising.
2) Really? Hunger Games? The most disappointing book rendition since…Cat In The Hat? Isn’t Salmon Fishing in Yemen or something artsy playing down the street?

I can’t wait to get a copy of producer/dj/raconteur/blackberryuser/subculturetourist Diplo’s new book, 128 Beats Per Minute. Just following him on twitter and reading his random rants has been amusing…and watching some of the video footage in this book trailer (via Urban Outfitters) gives you an idea of the many weird things Diplo has seen and done and possible ‘done.’ LOL. Thanks to his manager Kevin Kusatsu for passing this along.

Anyways, we’ve heard his recent work with Usher, and Azealia, and seen his love of booty-popping, etc…so you can also order the book, and check out Diplo’s recent chats with Complex and MTV.

(Rihanna takes the “tube” to Drake’s London concert)

Rihanna is doing promo for her upcoming movie debut….Battleship (yup, the movie based on a boardgame). So why not take the girls to her buddy Drake’s Club Paradise show? (And yes, she and Drake hit the afterparty too) And why not cause a lil’ ruckus by using public transportation…while wearing thigh-high boots and cutoffs? No biggie. I’m still not wild about her wig-like blond ‘do, but other than that….Rihanna’s whole style is boss to me. I’m there with the whole retro London creepers and BOY throwback post-mod-punk look. And even though, NCB and most every other guy I know hates this pointy gel-nail trend that Japanese girls have been rocking for ages…Rihanna’s gold fingers are fly to me. Love? Hate? But what about those rumors that Rihanna visited Ashton Kutcher’s house for a middle-of-the-night hang? Well, as random as that hook-up sounds…I have a larger problem with the coverage of her response.

It’s safe to say Azealia Banks’ #1 fan goes to Karl Lagerfeld. After performing at the legendary fashion designer’s dinner party during Paris Fashion Week, Azealia was a special request by Lagerfeld to perform at Chanel and Japan’s pop-up store after-party on Saturday evening. During the appearance, Banks debuted a new song that potentially might be one of two new cuts (“1991″ & “Grand Prix”) set to appear on her upcoming 212 EP.
