When will these dudes learn? Seriously, if you try to stage crash a rapper’s set, best believe the entourage is going to pummel you before spitting you back out into the crowd. The latest bozo who tried to test this theory popped up at SXSW while Run The Jewels was trying to do their thing.

The outcome was disastrous as expected.

Check out the video below…

Not that Boosie is one to play with, but his security team is like the secret service. While performing in St. Paul, Minnesota, a drunken fan kept trying to invade Badazz’s space when he crossed the gun line.

travis scott fight

Young Thug and Travi$ Scott are both known to put on energetic performances, but things got a little out of hand at the pair’s recent tour stop in Tucson, AZ after a fan attempted to fight the G.O.O.D. Music rapper.

As we can just about make out in the shaky footage below, a man approaches Scott (wearing red pants) in the venue following the show and starts swinging on him. It looks like the rapper managed to dodge most of the punches and even lands a right hook himself before security apprehended the fan (and by that I mean chokeslammed him).

Tensions continued to boil over as Travi$ is seen trying to stomp the guy, but it looks like he walked away unharmed. Travi$ and Thugga’s Rodeo tour pulls into Denver tonight, where it’s safe to assume things will be a little more chilled out.

afroman punches female fan

Afroman still rocks an impressive ‘fro these days, but he clearly wasn’t the lazy, lovable stoner we used to know while performing in Mississippi on Tuesday (February 17). The Palmdale rapper, who is best known for his 2001 hit “Because I Got High,” was arrested after socking a female fan in the face — in the middle of his set.

Cam’ron posted an instagram video on Weds which was touching for those of us who knew and loved his late friend Huddy, but the message that went along with it also shocked Killa Cam music fans…

“Fresh off da flight.. To see my brother.. HUD 6 told me lastnite.. #AChangeGoneCome last album.. #PurpleHaze2 this summer.. It’s been fun.. But HUD said we got other things to do. #Hud6″

Could this really be true? With the DJ Atrak x Cam’ron Federal Reserve project still unreleased, and a recent flow of hood movies and mixtapes…is Cam’ron really retiring from rap?

I reached out to Cam to get more details and here’s a short version of our convo…

migos offset superman punch

Fight Night, Round Two.

After beating up a chain-snatcher back in August, Migos was involved in another brawl during a recent concert in Springfield, Massachusetts — only the way this scuffle started is truly incredible. As you can see in the clip below, Offset stares down a fan near the front row before launching himself — chains and all — into the crowd, attempting to Superman punch a concert go-er. Naturally, the crowd dispersed as more punches were thrown, but thankfully it wasn’t long before the show resumed. It’s unclear why Offset attacked the fan, but they must have been spouting some serious slander.

drake threatens stripper

Drake may be under police investigation after a stripper claimed his people threatened her life after a one-night stand, according to TMZ. The stripper, Jhonni Blaze, alleges the OVO rapper began harassing her via text for fear she would go public with the story. She then claims several people from Drake’s camp “came to her house, banged on her door and threatened her life.” While Houston PD confirms they are investigating a “possible celebrity,” sources close to Drake say the allegations are false. Either way, this is one of the most hilariously ironic stories of the year.

migos brawl

The trio’s “shootout” show in Miami back in March should have served as prior warning not to mess with Migos, but clearly some people don’t take heed. One club goer learned the consequences first-hand after allegedly attempting to snatch a chain from the Atlanta trio at their show in Nashville over the weekend, only to get stomped out. It’s unclear whether Offset, Quavo or Takeoff actually delivered the fade, although they are seen brawling in the predictably shaky video below. “When n****s try to snatch chains on stage it don’t go well for em!!!” wrote DJ Jrum Major, who posted a not-so-flattering picture of the suspected thief on Instagram.

emile haynie artwork

Sometimes a song drops out of the sky and splits you right in two. That’s this song.
“A Kiss Goodbye,” is written and produced by superproducer Emile Haynie, featuring quite the combination of heavy collaborators…guitar by Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange, vocals by Charlotte Gainsbourg, who is basically de facto French royalty–a singer, actress, and fashion muse who happens to also be the daughter of music and arts legend Serge Gainsbourg and actress Jane Birkin (yes, as in…the Hermes Birkin. #headcrack). But it’s the second half of this unexpected song that will do you in….
Sampha‘s trembling voice and these lyrics about the bitter burning aftertaste of a love left to rot…

did it ever occur that you forgave yourself before I did.
did it ever occur that you forgave yourself before I could.
So I’m not cool with you.
I’m done and done and done…

Far too real for anyone who’s felt that same hurt.

Now we already know Emile Haynie’s work with Lana Del Rey, Bruno Mars, Kid Cudi, and most recently, Eminem’s new single with Sia “Guts Over Fear”…he’s long fine-tuned the blend of melancholy and hip hop aggression. But this song is much more personal. Is it part of a larger compilation? Well, I’ve heard more than I can speak on yet…but the future looks quite bright for those who love music about the darkest moments.

Stop everything and listen to Emile Haynie’s “A Kiss Goodbye”….
