Hit-Boy is celebrating his birthday on Monday (May 21) by giving back to the fans. The hitmaking producer announced a new project titled Tony Fontana is dropping at midnight. Before that arrives, Hit-Boy puts out a track off the album, linking up with Rich the Kid on “Clocked In.” Hear the collaboration below.

Jay Rock steps up to the plate. The Watts MC is the next artist from the Top Dawg Entertainment camp with a new album on the way. On Monday (May 21), TDE announced Jay Rock’s upcoming studio LP will be titled Redemption. Along with the title, the album cover was unveiled along with its release date of June 15. The follow-up to 2015’s 90059 is lead by the singles “King’s Dead” featuring Kendrick Lamar, Future and James Blake, and the triumphant “Win.”

Diplo, French Montana and Lil’ Pump joined forces on “Welcome to the Party,” a track off the Deadpool 2 motion picture soundtrack. Along with The Four star Zhavia, the trio swerve through mayhem and chaos in the song’s official music video. Directed by Jason Koenig, watch the visual that also features scenes from the film starring Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin below.

A$AP Rocky’s new studio album TESTING has long been teased, going back to late last year. On Sunday night (May 20), the A$AP Mob leader held a private performance art event in collaboration with Sotheby’s. Dubbed Lab Rat by A$AP Rocky, the event was live streamed on YouTube, where Harlem’s “Fashion Killa” unveiled the cover for his new album. Along with the cover, Rocky revealed the album’s features that includes Kid Cudi, Moby and Skepta. Previews of new records, presumably off the new studio LP were also played during the live stream. While no release date was given, A$AP Rocky tweeted “ALBUM DONE” along with the album artwork.

TESTING is Rocky’s third studio album and first since 2015’s AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP. Watch the performance art piece below.

Some of music’s biggest stars were celebrated as the 2018 Billboard Music Awards invaded Las Vegas on Sunday night (May 20). Hosted by Kelly Clarkson, this year’s award show featured performances by Ariana Grande, Camilla Cabello and Pharrell Williams, Khalid and Normani, Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled, plus Salt-N-Pepa closing the BBMAs with “Whatta Man” alongside En Vogue. Janet Jackson made history, by becoming the first black woman to be honored with the Icon Award. Presented by Bruno Mars, the pop entertainer electrified the night with a medley performance of “Nasty,” “If” and “Throb.”

For all our challenges, we live at a glorious moment in history,” said Janet in her acceptance speech. “It’s a moment when, at long last, women have made it clear that we will no longer be controlled, manipulated, or abused. I stand with those women and with those men equally outraged by discrimination. My prayer is that weary of such noise, we turn back to the source of all calmness. That source is God. Everything we lack, God has in abundance. Compassion, sensitivity, patience, and a boundless love.”
