lute slummin

Lute’s newly-released Dreamville debut West 1996, Pt. 2 arrives five years after the original, but really, Lute is picking up right where he left off. Case in point: his new video for “Still Slummin.” Serving as the sequel to his J Dilla-jackin’ “Queen City Slummin” video from 2013 (word to 2DopeBoyz), the black-and-white clip finds Lute grinding away at his blue collar job while keeping his eye on the prize — thanks to a friendly reminder from NC legend Rapper Big Pooh.

dipset asap mob 1

Two of New York’s finest rap crews will share the stage on home soil next month. On November 21, Dipset and A$AP Mob will perform at Spotify’s RapCaviar Live concert at Manhattan’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The show will mark Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey’s first performance together in over two years following continued tension amongst the group — tension that we hope has been squashed with this announcement. Given Dipset’s influence on A$AP Mob, it’s only right Spotify made it an all-Harlem double bill.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (October 20) at 11am EST via Ticketmaster.
