Diddy’s Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story documentary is coming to Apple Music this summer. Ahead of its premiere at the TriBeCa Film Festival in NYC on Thursday night (Apr. 27), the music mogul announces the film will debut on the streaming platform starting on June 25. Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop chronicles the beginning and rise of Bad Boy Records during the 90s, plus documents the lead up to the 20th anniversary Bad Boy reunion shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in 2016.

“I went to the [Bad Boy Reuion] concert and thought it was incredible,” says Jimmy Iovine, Apple Music chairman and CEO, in a statement to Billboard. “I think Puff and Bad Boy’s story is incredible and one that a lot of people can relate to in any genre or in any business. His story is powerful. He really overcame a lot to get to where he’s at today and the documentary shows that.”

I knew this was a story that should be shared with the world,” said Diddy in a statement “Heather Parry and Live Nation Productions, and Director Daniel Kaufman, helped create this very special documentary. Now I’m blessed to also be working with Apple to showcase the film and share Bad Boy’s history and impact with fans. The support Live Nation, Apple and everyone on the team has given to this project is a true testament to the Bad Boy legacy.”

“Being from Jersey, you got to understand, there’s not too many motherf*ckers that are going to support what we’re doing,” says Da$H about the Garden State. Though, the 24-year old has spent the last decade of his life obsessed with music, his current occupation in rap wasn’t his childhood hoop dream.

“If it wasn’t for my younger brother, I wouldn’t be rapping right now,” admits Da$H between pulls of his endless supply of Newports. “I didn’t take this shit seriously until he was like ‘this [music] is tight, here’s some more beats, see what you come up with.’ This is me at like age 15, making songs in my man Flea’s spot. He had the mic hooked up to the desktop computer, and all that.”

After debuting the song during a show in NYC back in January, SZA (or should I say TDE) finally releases the full version of her Travi$ Scott collaboration, “Love Galore.” The bouncy ballad is produced by thankgod4cody and Carter Lang, and is set to appear on the songstress’ long awaited debut album, CTRL, which Top Dawg confirms will be the label’s next release.
