My current favorite freaky redhead let everything out the bag in her recent sit-down with RollingStone. Covering the new issue of the mag, RiRi opened up about her feelings toward former boyfriend Chris Brown, her sex life, being a bit of a masochist and more. The issue is available now.

“She hasn’t heard from Brown in a very long time. “We don’t have to talk ever again in my life,” she says. “I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing – it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows – that definitely made it difficult for him.”

“She went through an incredibly difficult time after the Brown incident. “I put my guard up so hard,” she says. “I didn’t want people to see me cry. I didn’t want people to feel bad for me. It was a very vulnerable time in my life, and I refused to let that be the image. I wanted them to see me as, ‘I’m fine, I’m tough.’ I put that up until it felt real.”

this might be the cheesiest thing I’ve seen….well, at least this week.
It’s not that I’m surprised they’re remaking Teen Wolf (that hilariously ridiculous 80’s teen movie starring hirsute loverboy Michael J. Fox), but turning it into an hormonal action flick a la Twilight makes for giggles galore. It’s like She’s All That meets Wolfman. A horrible combo on so many levels.
i09 also points out that the original’s wolf teen in tight basketball shorts, has been replaced by coolguy wolf teen with a lacrosse stick. HA!

But my favorite part is at the 1:50 mark of the trailer….where they liken TeenWolf’s shapeshifting to one of those inconvenient slowdance boners. (“What’s wrong?” “Oh, nothing, it’s just that brushing against your training bra is making me all howl-y. No big whoop.“) Ahh, the joys of adolescence.

Last month during her sit down with Angie Martinez, the American Idol host was quoted that Lil’ Wayne “Might be one of the best out there right now. He might be the best. He’s really good.” Fast forward to last week when during an online chat she announced Weezy will be on her new single that you can check out called “I’m Into You”. J-Lo’s new album Love? is set to release on May 3rd.

MissInfo: um….”if you need me just call up the crew…cuz I’m on it, and you on it, and we on it….” Who wrote this? Jenny is a sharp woman, I’m sure she can handle better lyric structure than this.

When Birdman isn’t at Club Perfections with his YMCMB crew spending $50,000 cash, he’s preparing for the release of his Bigger Than Life LP dropping July 7th. Here’s the first of two singles (the second will feature Nicki Minaj) off the album that features Mack Maine & Tunechi. From the signature breath exhale on the song I think it’s safe to say The Runners produced this.

Sporting his original black hairdo, Chris Brown made an appearance on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars and left viewers with two great performances. At the top watch Breezy hit the stage to perform his hit “Yeah 3x”. The appearance on the network was pre-taped and stirred controversy when DWTS host Tom Begeron and cast member Cheryl Burke voiced their opinions on the pop star being on tonight’s show.

Billboard reports Chris Brown will strike his first #1 album with F.A.M.E. bringing in an estimated 275-300k it’s first week.

Known for his cult following and sold-out shows as displayed recently at his SXSW x FADER show with Diddy, Lil’ B has signed a deal with Live Nation for four shows and two festivals. Setting a mark for an un-signed independant artist signing with the powerhouse touring company.

The SF Weekly reports:

Long an irregular presence on the live stage — over the last year, the Internet star played two sold-out shows to ministers of the blogosphere in New York, but no headlining hometown sets — Lil B recently inked a deal with tour giant Live Nation for a string of shows around the East Coast and the Midwest. He also lined up a headlining show at Mezzanine here in San Francisco, set for April 21.

“It’s for sure the first [Bay Area] show of this new era of people being aware of Lil B,” his manager, Sebastian Demian, tells SF Weekly. It might also be a sign of what’s in the future for Brandon McCartney, a 21-year-old member of East Bay rap collective the Pack. The Live Nation deal is only four shows and two festival appearances, but Demian says he’s hoping to expand that to a larger tour. And the fact that Live Nation made a deal with Lil B — an independent artist who isn’t signed to any label — is surprising on its own. Demian says the people he worked with Live Nation couldn’t remember making such an agreement before.

Props to Mr.X.

(Update: just added video of Weezy and Angie in the Hot97 studios! Thanks Rob/Hot97tv)

Fresh from back-to-back shows in NYC for his I Am Music II tour, Lil’ Wayne makes his first post-prison radio interview on Hot 97’s The Angie Martinez Show.

Break 1: Intro – Wayne talks about his probation, the women in his life, and not being a “superstar”.

Break 2: Returning and seeing Drake & Nicki Minaj’s success, retiring at age 35, never seeing Toya’s BET reality show, and never hearing Drake or Nicki Minaj’s debut albums yet.

Break 3: Preparing for Tha Carter IV, his love for The Jersey Shore, Rick Ross & Kanye West being his favorite albums currently, and Nicki Minaj’s “Did It On ‘Em” originally being his song that was given away by Mack Maine.

Mikey’s note: Yes, everyone thinks Weezy really hasn’t heard all the songs from Drake and Nicki’s albums but at the 6:26 mark, Wayne explains how every song was emailed and approved by him. I believe Weezy was originally implying that he hasn’t actually sat down with the completed albums in their final format.

Thanks to Angie
