On the eve of U.S. Election Day 2016, Vic Mensa served as musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday. Backed by special guest Travis Barker, a live band, and a group of people on stage dressed in riot gear, the Chicago MC performed his eye-opening politically-charged record “16 Shots.”

Inspired by Laquan McDonald, who was murdered by the Chicago Police back in 2014, “16 Shots” appears on Vic Mensa’s There’s Alot Going On project available now. Watch the powerful performance below.
