Between Eminem’s history-making Wembley concert, Jay Z and Beyonce’s On The Run MetLife show and the Total Slaughter battle rap showdowns, it’s been a busy weekend for hip-hop fans across the globe. However, it looks like Brooklyn was the place to be yesterday.

As if being graced by the rare presence of Jay Electronica — who brought with him Jay Z, J. Cole and Mac Miller — wasn’t enough of a treat, Raekwon also headlined the 10th anniversary BK Hip-Hop Festival, and had his own surprise guests in tow. The Chef welcomed onstage Brooklyn’s own Troy Ave and Papoose, as well as the buzzing Bobby Shmurda, who performed his viral hit “Hot N***a.”

In case the likes of Bobby were too new school for the crowd (and, well, it looked like it), Rae catered to his old heads by also bringing out AZ and M.O.P.’s Lil Fame to perform “Life’s a Bitch” and “Ante Up,” respectively. That’s on top of his own solo classics like “Ice Cream” and “Incarcerated Scarfaces.”
