After breaking out last year with the infectious ode to Birdman and Mannie Fresh, “Big Tymin,” Vallejo, CA neophyte Nef The Pharaoh kickstarts what’s sure to be another big year with his new mixtape, Neffy Got Wings. A full-length collaboration with producer Cardo, the 10-track project, in Neffy’s own words, “is me showing the world that I can do a lot of versatile stuff. There’s some smoker tracks on there, some radio songs on there, a party song on there, it’s house music. It’s everything. Just me spreading my wings.”

The mixtape includes appearances from Ty Dolla $ign and Eric Bellinger (on the recently leaked “Action“), as well as buzzing Bay Area MCs Mozzy, Deltrice and Philthy Rich.
