Diddy appears on the legendary “Inside The Actor’s Studio” interview series tonight (Tues, May 25th) at 7pm EST on Bravo, facing off with James Lipton. In this preview, Diddy tells James that he drew from his own personality for his role as a demanding record exec in Judd Apatow’s Get Him To The Greek but also 3 other real-life rap industry tyrants. Hmm…who? Dame has a big personality. Russell is a famed screamer. Puff’s former bottle-joustee? More than likely, it’s folks we wouldn’t expect, like Irving Azoff (of the arguably monopolizing Ticketmaster/LiveNation merger). (Thanks to Maggie/BadBoy for the clip!)

I’m interested in seeing the sitdown, but with these two, you know there will be much incredulous hyperbole

An example after the jump…and more bonus clips from Diddy x James Lipton

From the Bravo TV press release:

This is one of my most revealing and insightful interviews to date. It really captures my personal and professional life in the purest and most honest way. As I continue on this journey, I hope to make great films that will entertain the world,” states Sean “Diddy” Combs.

James Lipton concurs, “This episode is one of the most remarkable and satisfying portraits of an artist in the sixteen-year history of the series.”

Diddy talks about the roles that he was offered that were rapper-typical, but he was determined to get his supporting role in Monster’s Ball, and campaigned at Halle’s door for it.

Diddy calls himself a good luck charm, because of his experiences working on the play Raisin in the Sun, and the movie Monster’s Ball: “At least I know if you’re a woman and you play against me, you’re gonna win an award…”
