Lauryn Hill Calls Her Classic ‘Miseducation’ Album: ‘Music From A Sincere Place’

Even if she never releases another album again, Lauryn Hill’s work on her cherished album The Miseducation… can’t ever be tainted. Sure, not everyone agrees with her current performance routines or behavior, but L-Boogs is irreplaceable.
“Ms. Lauryn Hill discusses her 1998 multi-Grammy winning album ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ as part of the exclusive film series ‘Classic Albums By Classic Artists’ presented by Reebok Classics & Rock The Bells. The latest installment of the film series focuses on the artist and her landmark multi-platinum selling album. “I make the music that I want to hear and when you find that other people want to hear that too… how could you not be excited about that,” Ms. Hill notes. She goes on to say “I made a piece of music from a sincere place and I think that sincerity has no choice but to resonate with people.”

Classic is not the right word to use that album..Epic, Timeless, Cross-Cultural etc etc etc. hard to top that especially with a uckin cover band…
On another note Amy Winehouse has been VENDICATED!! Her death was just the result of a tiny over boozed frame going through extreme toxicc withdrawls… That sucks! But every action has a reaction….
Oh and in other news Will and Jada have split over under 12-24 months on Jazzy and Beyonce… uckin J.Lo started it lol

It is indeed a classic piece of work. Each time I listen to it, I hear a new perspective in a song I may have listened to hundreds of times. The emotions she expressed in her work ran the gammit. You can hear the profound sadness, extreme pride, clarity of liberation, sincere joy, and the despair of dissapointment. We all have those emotions and could relate, but few artists can convey all of these emotions in one album. It will always be in my top 10.

I loved the MisEducation & her on the score…but im over it. Not going crazy & waiting on her like its Christ’s return. It is what is…she’s gonna keep getting seeded & never fully return to her rightful place in this game. It sucks but Im over it, as a lot of people should be. Get over it, damn! Lol
Thats like all the people who are thirst for a Fugees reunion!
Really???…you’re really checking for any new music from Pras right now???
Thought not! It was the time, timing was perfect back then. The era was perfect. The magic is gone now. I dont even want Pras to be saved like that to be honest. Nigga probably sittin’ idle by the phone all day…prayin Clef & Lauryn get on board to save his wack ass! Lol

zing!! isolation did it to her. she don’t mess with drugs or liquor. some good old fashion fame chased by pressure. Some people flourish in isolation i.e : 50 cent. I just don’t think it has worked in her favor; although i get she wants family time but shes too much a free spirit to stay in one place artistically. And Miseducation was classic material, I can still listen to it and its relevant in modern times that’s classic to me. during that time women only used sex appeal to sell records and to be honest most still do.

Dear L-Boogie,
Enough is Enough! Record new material. Release a friggin’ follow-up album already. It’s time. Riding the Miseducation wave has reached its tilt. R&B and rap is missing a void and it’s YOU.
Sincerely,
“Anne” (Stan’s twin sis)
