The hottest artist out of New York City is now signed. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, internet sensation Bobby Shmurda has inked a record deal with Epic Records. “Deal is done @bobby_shmurda #EPIC no one does the underdogs better then me. Brooklyn this 1 is for you,!” Epic Records executive Sha Money XL on Instagram, announcing the news.
The 20-year-old’s buzz began earlier this month with the song “Hot Ni**a,” and the #ShmoneyDance craze. Artists such as Meek Mill, Fabolous and Raekwon has brought out the young street rapper at various events. While Jay Z and Beyoncé both co-signed the rapper’s buzz at their “On the Run” tour in New Jersey. Expect a remix to “Hot Ni**a” featuring French Montana to arrive soon. Catch a preview below.

This reminds me of when Trinidad James was posted on here and the question was asked if he was the next big thing in Hip-Hop. He, Bobby Shmurda, will share the same fate as that Jerome from “Martin” lookin’ nigga Trinidad James.
