Wale may believe that he doesn’t get the respect he thinks he deserves, but clearly he has a few fans out there riding for him. The D.C. rapper has added a second No. 1 album to his name as his fourth LP The Album About Nothing tops the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 100,000.

The top spot was previously occupied by Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, which falls to No. 4 after moving an additional 65,000 copies. That tally pushes the album past the 500,000 sales mark, earning it gold certification in just over three weeks.

The question now is how long until it picks up a platinum plaque?
