Here’s the official visual for the third single off Em’s multi-platinum album Recovery. Cameos from Just Blaze (who produced the track and is on the hook), The Alchemist & Denaun Porter.
Update: Mikey says: I spoke to Just yesterday on the making of the record.
“I gave Em the framework of what the record could be about and a couple vocal ideas that I had for the hook. He knocked it out like two days later,” Just said, adding that the final touch came when he stepped from behind the board and into the booth. “After it was completed, I went back and added me singing the ‘No Love’ part.”- Just Blaze

What’s the edit? I’m curious, didn’t realize this site was censored? I also thought the sample was pure corn initially, but like my man below it’s grown on me. Em is flowing ridiculous. I kinda even think Wayne held his own. I’m confused about the end though, did the kid beat them up or not? WTF?

Actually like this song. Really wasnt feeling waynes verses. i hate when he raps like that. Its almost as if he’s trying too hard. Em killed it. Beat was pretty cool, surprised at that sample.

The phrase “more better” is wrong. “More” and “er” on the end are both comparative state adjectives and you can’t use them together. that is all.

Great song, two dope artist and one very lame uncreative video,..I expected way more creativity and bang for this song. Its a shame, with the right director this could have been a MOV—IE

Wayne’s mgr and team are very smart. He’s been locked up for almost a year, but still feels like he never left. They’ve been pretty good at spacing out the release of songs and videos. TI needs to take note….
As for Em, “that boi’s nice.” [Jay-Z voice]
Just Blaze is a beast!! He’s so multi-dimensional. You can never hear a beat and say that’s a JB beat (can’t say the same for Swizz, Premo, Neptunes, etc. Not trying to hate, they’re nice, but they unfortunately have a certain sound). He’s so creative. You never know what angle he is coming from.

TI had a tv show and had alot of camera time before going in. There’s always more than 1 approach to any situation. TI was more concerned with cleaning up his image. Remember, he lost endorsements for his charges.

I could do without Wayne because he ain’t rappin’ bout shit. Just once I’d like to hear that nigga stay on topic of whatever the song is shit! Em naturally killed it of course

At the end, the director showed three different outcomes. One with the bullied kid fighting back and getting jumped afterwards. the second is with him beating up all the bullies. Third is just him standing up for himself and the bullies actually leaving him alone.

I’m sorry but u said u want more creativty, more bang and what not, ur monkey ass fail to realize that lil Wayne did his part of the vid in May and Em did his in August. Don’t get me wrong the same director did that garbage video for “drop the world” but to do a video 3 months apart it came out beautiful so suffer!!!
