Vic Mensa’s a generous guy. Just a few days after releasing his impressive “YNSP” featuring Eliza Doolittle, the promising Chicago lyricist gifts us another gem off his upcoming debut solo project, INNANETAPE. Complete with a stunning video full of summer fun, “Lovely Day” is a romantic, rock-tinged jam that’s got a similar vibe to “Orange Soda” (which has been one of my absolute favorite songs all year). It’s just a shame this didn’t drop while the sun was still out.
