Usher Announces ‘Hard II Love’ Album Release Date; Drops “Missing U”

Usher is switching things up. The R&B icon is getting ready to drop his 8th solo LP next month. Originally titled UR, the album was called Flawed in recent months until it leaked on iTunes the album is now called Hard II Love. Due September 16 via RCA Records, Hard II Love includes the singles “Crash” and “No Limit” featuring Young Thug.
Along with the new album title, artwork and release date being revealed, fans who pre-order now on iTunes will get an instant download of a new track “Missing U.” The record switches back and forth from mid-tempo to a slow ballad, with a mixture of hard drums, chopped and screwed ad-libs, and classic 80s R&B.
Catch Usher in Hands of Stone, the Roberto Duran biopic where he portrays boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, hitting theatres this Friday (Aug. 26).
