Total Slaughter: Joe Budden vs. Hollow Da Don (Video)

Well, it finally went down last night at the Hammerstein Ballroom. The Shady Records-funded Total Slaughter rap battle and all its glory took over New York City as some of the top rated rap battlers faced off in a Pay Per View competition. The biggest events of the day came from Murda Mook vs. Loaded Lux and of course, Joe Budden vs. Hollow The Don.
There were plenty of missteps and really weird moments, like MC Daylyte totally bombing an act in his third round, but overall the reports seem to point out that the event was on-point for attendees. The final outcomes are still up in air, according to the e-streets, but it looks like Mook took Lux and although Hollow defeated Joe, there’s debates about Joe’s delivery and some of Hollow’s bars.
For now, only grainy video is up online for us to judge from, but check out the available footage and stay tuned for more on this epic event.

You could’ve waited, disappointed one of my favorite sites is resorting to someone’s cell phone recording of a battle as their update.

Best battle of the night was Mook vs. Lux, and Mook clearly took that one. The main event was trash and both artists disappointed

Well, I thought Budden had the better bars, clearly. Hollow screaming and yelling out shit that wasn’t really that dope. I mean he is good but did not come strong compared to his previous battles. Mook vs Lux was way better..Mook won no doubt. So did Arsonal…And WTF Daylyt??

Arsonal won against Big T for sure and i felt Daylyt would of won if he actually spit some bars that last round and then pulled off that crazy stunt lol! and Mook destroyed Lux and i say destroyed because I’m just disappointed at Lux performance felt he could of done better and as for Joe Vs Hollow I’ll say Joe would of won if he kept spitting even though crowd was booing never should of put the mic down there for by doing so resulted in a hollow win!

And anyone who thinks hollow would of won even if Joe didn’t put the mic down don’t even know battle rap because another thing is let’s not forget this was hollow’s platform Joe was walking on and he did pretty damn good! It’s like lets see hollow battle Joe on a track most likely Joe is going to win Hands down because on track hollow is trash but like i said very disappointed @Joe should of said fuck the crowd and finished strong! #Rematch
