Over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith held a Twitter Q&A where he updated fans on upcoming albums by SZA and Isaiah Rashad. Tiffith also revealed that ScHoolboy Q’s forthcoming new album would arrive before the summer. On Tuesday (May 31), ScHoolboy Q took to Twitter to announce his new album will arrive on July 8.
“Sorry for tHe delay but album drops….7/8/16 final date……,” said the L.A. MC. Lead by the single “THat Part” featuring Kanye West, the project’s title is unknown to this point. It will serve as a follow-up to ScHoolboy Q’s last full-length release, 2014’s Oxymoron, which debuted No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
Earlier this month, ScHoolboy Q and Kanye West filmed a video for their single, which can be streamed below.
