Trying to figure out what we did to receive a new Zack De La Rocha verse today is one for the gods. On Columbus Day, nonetheless. Anyway, it’s pretty sweet to hear the former Rage Against the Machine singer spitting his all on a track with El-P and Killer Mike. The combination further proves why Run The Jewels are an American treasure.

“We worked on music together in the late 90’s after Rage broke up but it never came out. We remained friends, though, and when I was in L.A. working on the record I bumped in to him literally on the way to the studio,” says EL-P. “He came by and listened to what we had and a day later was recording with us.”
