The stars came out for a greater cause on Thursday night, in support of Rihanna’s first annual Diamond Ball. Held at The Vineyard, a private 157-acre enclave located in Beverly Hills, California, the inaugural Diamond Ball is a black-tie fundraiser benefitting The Clara Lionel Foundation. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, some of the 600 attendees at the star-studded dinner and live auction included actresses Salma Hayek, Ellen Pompeo, Kat Graham, Nikki Reed, plus Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Big Sean, Fabolous, Tyrese, and Earth, Wind, & Fire’s Verdine White.

The 26-year-old pop star shined the brightest, wearing a crimson Zac Posen dress complimented with Chopard jewels. Musician Lee England Jr. provided the evening’s early entertainment, before actor Brad Pitt provided a speech before introducing Rihanna’s medley performance with a grand orchestra. “Feel so lucky to have an evening like this, to spend with people with hearts like mine, who want to change and save lives at any cost!,” said RiRi in an Instagram post. “There’s so much to do, and I can’t do it all by myself, so I have to thank all of the supporters of and people who donated to #TheClaraLionelFoundation Looking forward to seeing you later this evening.”

Rihanna was joined by her parents Ronald Fenty and Monica Brathwaite, brothers Rorrey and Rajad, best-friend Melissa Forde, and her grandfather Lionel “Bravo” Braithwaite, who The Clara Lionel Foundation is named after along with her late grandmother Clara Brathwaite. Founded in 2012, The Clara Lionel Foundation organization seeks to improve quality of life in areas of health, education, culture and arts for communities across the globe.

“One of the greatest benefits of my job was being able to start the Clara Lionel Foundation in honor of my grandparents,” Rihanna said in a statement earlier this year. “There is truly nothing I’m more proud of, and we’ve just gotten started. I’m excited to continue my work and thrilled to be able to host the Diamond Ball – a night that promises to be elegant and inspirational.”
