With his new “Numbers On The Boards” track gaining traction, Pusha T upped the ante even more for his forthcoming debut solo album, My Name Is My Name. Speaking with Fuse at Coachella, the G.O.O.D. Music MC named Rick Ross, Future, Kendrick Lamar, Re-Up Gang, Kanye West and 2 Chainz as the LP’s guests. Pharrell, Kanye, The-Dream, Rico Beats, Nottz, Don Cannon, Swizz Beatz and Hudson Mohawke handle the production.

Elaborating on the sound of his album, Pusha described My Name Is My Name as a “fusion” of a few of his favorite albums, including Biggie’s Life After Death, Ma$e’s Harlem World and Raekwon’s The Purple Tape. He also promised he’ll announce a release date for the record this coming week.

[‘Life After Death,’ ‘Harlem World’ and ‘The Purple Tape’] are the perfect moods in description of diversity of what I want to hear in rap; the raw RZA edge, the lyricism of Biggie, the arrogance of a Ma$e in Harlem World. I even want to give you a little bit of R&B.
