Nicki Minaj strips down to a bikini, showing off her curves in the playful feel-good video for her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded single “Starships.” Young Money’s first lady soaks up the Hawaiian sun along the beaches of Oahu. Once again Nicki shows off her famous ASSets, while playing in the waterfalls, and dancing around mountains, before ending the night off with an outdoor luau party. Quite a return to Twitter, enjoy the vibrant Anthony Mandler-directed video.
Watch “Starships” and another cute performance from Sophia Grace and Rosie on Ellen after the jump….
The adorable British duo of nine-year-old Sophia Grace and her cousin Rosie returned to The Ellen DeGeneres Show to perform “Starships” and like their previous appearances, won the crowd and their hearts over.

The British kid duo Sophia Grace and her cousin Rosie performance is hilarious. Rosie is just happy to be there, lol.
I kinda understand why some people are mad at Nicki. She went from “hardcore” hip-hop to pop. She is making pop music because pop music pays the best. More people buy pop music then any other kind of music other kind. (IMO)
This is a smart move on her part. But to be fair I don’t like it when she gets mad at other people pointing out the fact that her last album is a pop album not a hip-hop album. I can’t wait to hear this on Zzzzzzzz100.

Straight wack… I ain’t mad at her for going the money route, but that song is trash in any genre.

Sophia Grace & Rosie’s performance > this video.

she actually said “twinkle twinkle little star” hahah first time i heard that…I mean what can you even say after you hear that…the disses are redundant.

…this sucks man, I’m sure that’s why her video was coupled with the “cute kids singing and dancing” video in this post. Young Money has too many “Yes Men”. I don’t see how a label could let something this awful fly…pun intended. It’s cool that as an artist she has the liberty to put something such as this out but theres also something called Quality Control
April 27th, 2012 at 10:12 am
She know this is pop music. its nothing wrong with being creative and doing other type of music when you are an artist. She shaking her ASS in every video now!

C´mon son what the fuck is this bullshit, is this bitch serious?
April 27th, 2012 at 11:37 am
i really don’t know too much bout pop music but it matches most of the pop songs that i skip by on the radio or catch in passing. can’t even hate if that’s what she’s into and that’s the type of creative space she’s in then i’m happy to c shawty do her thing
April 27th, 2012 at 2:12 pm
i think im brainwashed into putting up with nicki for another year.
April 27th, 2012 at 2:20 pm
You people tossing the word “creative” around need to check yourselves.
April 27th, 2012 at 3:09 pm
Strrrrrrrrrraight wackness ah gwaan!!
April 27th, 2012 at 4:08 pm
To Snitchkilla, Mr. ME and Osom I say you hit a home run with your comments.
April 27th, 2012 at 5:17 pm
its a cool video if you play it on mute.
April 27th, 2012 at 5:19 pm
Jokes how she’s showing off that amazing body to an audience who probably won’t even appreciate it when you realise who’s gonna be dancing around to this lame sh*t…
Serious audio-trash in any genre – bet you Nicki says it was to in about 12 months once she’s rinsed the sales off of promoting this whack ass “crack music” to the masses.
Snort it up kids.
April 27th, 2012 at 10:27 pm
u making it sound like the definition of creative is “classic and timeless” don’t think anyone said that. even a child finger painting a picture of there parents can be called “creative”

Miss Banks = Old Nicki with a splash of Miss Hill yes Lauren..But not as pretty.
As for this video I had to turn it off 35 seconds in.. Nicki is by far one of the best looking and best built chicks out there…But the voices are killing me..
April 28th, 2012 at 12:48 am
Appreciate Miss Banks now b/c I give here a year or less until she does the same shit Nicki’s doin now (singin instead of rapping on techno/pop beats, ass shakin for approval lol, etc.)
As for the video, it’s watchable up until the 2:00 mark. After that, ehh…

You know what most people hating on here have no vision at all – me I love hip hop / rap always have, always will – I think the old nikki was quality and I could listern to her music but now the new stuff does not reallly do it for me however from nikki’s perspective she can sell to the hip hop audience where people are sooooo opinionated and not sell as much or sell millions to the masses in mainstream doing what she is doin making stuipid doe ! Nikki is doing the right thing – she is making silly money now and known worldwide as a star with one of the biggest followings on twitter !! It ain’t hip hop no more but the hip hop community should be proud of the way she has broken through and I bet Baby and Wayne ain’t bothered about “real rap music” when they are counting the dollars. It’s about the best Wat of making money in business !!
Question: would you as a female “Artist” keep it hip hop and sell less or go mainstream and blow up ??
One other point I garantee you – save this post Ms Banks will not reach anywhere near nikki’s level – not even touch it – it will surprise me if she even has a number one single or a gold album !! No way near as marketable as nikki !!

Of course, but those parents are proud because their child has shown that they are able to create something worthwhile and shows that they have the ability to push themselves. This cookie cutter bullshit is nothing to be proud of.

Sucks but all I can see is a 2012 HotnTot Venus….good luck getting nominated for a Grammy
April 28th, 2012 at 11:22 am
wow, you went there with the super historic hottentot reference. wow.
April 28th, 2012 at 11:50 am
I mean I applaud her for doing what she wants etc etc…but its too prevalent for me and that’s what sucks. What she’s doing seems so empty and as a pop star she’ll merely be something to be looked at like Venus. And that thought is reinforced by the fact that the two videos from what appears to be her most controversial/lambasted album consist of her parading around in a bikini…when I thought she was dropping the whole “sexy” thing to be taken more seriously…just some thoughts

Garbage.
1st 30 seconds looks like a ‘Europeans stranded on a desert island vs. alien invasion’ movie upcoming. Then it goes downhill from there.
