New Video: Jay Electronica “Exhibit A”

On Sunday, Jay E. called P.Diddy to the stage at the Mos Def show (click to see Mikey’s exclusive footage)…and tonite, the big homie Funk Flex answered Jay’s twitter-request to hear “Exhibit A” on Hot97, lol…so I guess he felt benevolent and released this video. Nation/Nahright says that Jay told him that Jason Goldwatch/Decon’s footage is from Dubai, and also Nepal (previously seen in “Dear Moleskine“).

this song was rocking on Shade45 a long time ago. This was the first time track I heard from JayElec (before the Eternal Sunshine joint) I didn’t understand why this wasn’t on hot97. Jay shouldn’t have to ask Flex to play this, it should be a given that flex plays this…isn’t Hot97 where HipHop and R&B live?
What happened to DJs playing what’s hot / exclusive and not whats pop?

I’ve never been a fan of this dude. If he’s the savior of rap, rap might as well off itself.
Boring flow, mediocre intonation (he doesn’t emcee, he just talks!) and all around average rhymes.
“Jay Elechonica, Vonnegut on this Cobain flow, find me in Bali where my halo grow…” BLAH BLAH f*ck outta here.
Dude’s been rhyming the same since he first came out the gate. It was wack then, it’s wack now.
Anyway, my ‘hate’ aside, I really don’t think it’s a good idea to keep putting out these irritating snippets. For example, even though I’m not feeling Jay Elec at all, I think: “well, let me try again and see what he has to offer, since some people say he’s the truth. Maybe the video will be illuminating.”
I click Exhibit A, and what do I get, a freaking snippet. That’s how you lose people.
and if his fans aren’t too happy about the snippets either, maybe Jay needs to reevaluate this approach.

Thats it!!! yea that game was classic!!! song is very hot too, its about time….computer games are a really good way of gettin songs out, otherwise i wouldn’t have a clue who this guy was.

I really like youtube but yeah it does have some bad things on it. Like with illegal material and stuff.
