I like this track pretty cool but I feel sonically the beat has the potential to be epic with some more instruments stringed to it.
Check out my new beat pack, info on my blog

zmack is the only one telling it how it is.
I don’t know how you can LOVE Nas and Rae’s classic shit and not see how washed up this record is.
Shitty beat, meh rhymes. In fact, it’s rare that I’ll listen to Nas and go “meh” to his rhymes. He’s usually on point even when his beats suck. But his rhymes on this were soft. Which I guess is a good thing because at the beat doesn’t deserve a great verse.
It’s mediocre shit like this that prevents hip hop from going forward. You have new cats in the game who are just so fucking wack, not even trying to associate themselves with anything hip hop. Making rock tracks, structuring their shit like imitation pop and rock, then telling me it’s hip hop like I don’t know the difference.
Then you have these washed up rappers coasting on decades-old classic material who don’t seem to evolve as people and are clearly not trying to bring anything cool to the table musically.
Fuck this track. on the real.
