New Music: Kid Cudi feat. Kanye West “Erase Me” (radio rip)
Mikey: Word is Cudi dropped this off to DJ E-V from WAKS 96.5 Kiss FM in Cleveland. Sounds like a hit to me, on Top 40 at least. (Props to Sonic)
Miss Info: This totally came out of nowhere, pleasant surprise though. The audio is hilarious, like the most underwhelming introduction of a massive exclusive I’ve ever heard. This is a big scoop, man! LOL. I agree with Mikey though, this is straight pop-rocks. (thank you Sonic for sending this along! And shout to DJ EV for the exclusive)
Related News: Big Sean announced on Twitter that his album, Kanye’s album, and Kid Cudi’s album are all dropping on September 14. Consequence says his release is on the 14th too. So its officially G.O.O.D. Music day.

Artists like Kid Cudi are so necessary for the growth of Hip-Hop! This type of Hip-Hop makes great performance material also. I love the fact that Hov is bringing Global attention to the live Hip-Hop experience and its progression with the mix of the Live band along with the traditional DJ/Emcee format. I go to alot of shows and get so amped when the artist has a live band playing. Its Just great. Shout to Cudi, B.o.B, N.E.R.D., Lupe, Hov, Kanye, Weezy, Cypress, The Roots(Legends), Etc… Keep it Going!!!

This is the type of song you swear you don’t like when you first hear it and 2 months later you find yourself singing it under your breath while you do laundry at 3a.m. In other words it sounds like something the Black Eye Peas would make.

You know what I appreciate most..for awhile the music got to a point where as I grew it no longer fit with what was happening in my life. I’m married now and as much as i love raw hip hop it is not appropriate to play in the whip with wifey. So when I here songs like this it really puts a smile on my face.. Way to GROW HIP HOP..Way to GROW!!
