The homie Green Lantern just dropped his Invasion Radio 2K10 Mixtape over at LiveMixtapes, but he sent over this unearthed 2006 goodie for you guys (Thanks Green!), along with an interesting explanation….

New Version: Jay-Z feat. Chris Martin “Most Kingz” (off the Invasion Radio 2K10 mixtape)

Green says that this Jay-Z and Chris Martin (Coldplay) collabo was one of two that were recorded for Jay’s Kingdom Come album…but the other “Beach Chair” was the only one used…Hov’s verse ended up on the Funkmaster Flex show, as well as Coldplay’s “Lost (remix)” but as a song, this bounced around, in search of a beat to everyone from….

Green says:

“This is my version working with the acapella…I’ve had this since 2006 and it was supposed to be on the Presidential Invasion mixtape–that never came out. Then Hov rapped these lyrics over his HP commercial drums, and the acapella went to a few different producers in search of a beat for it. I heard a Timbaland version and I think Just Blaze and a few others had it too. But by the time they made “Beach Chair,” I think Jay was over trying to find a beat for “Most Kingz.” Then he went to Flex show and the rest is history…”
